Anyone else think Tim looked a bit sneaky when he was talking about Sammie as a delicate flower? I think he thinks he can manipulate 'her', although I'm not sure who Tim would ideally block.

itswinetime · 16/10/2019 09:47

Tim is rational and logical I think he will approach it as he always does he will save woody Sammie will save paddy. He will suggest saving Ella Sammie will say she thinks Ella has been fake, they key will be if James can convince Tim enough to give him doubts without giving his game plan away. Tim still thinks Georgina is his friend he will be happy to save her. Jan doesn't seem to have a strong bond with either so I think she may well be the one to go.

LolaDabestest · 16/10/2019 10:41

Tim is snakey for sure...he was basically saying he could manipulate Sammie....hoping sammie can get him to get rid of Ella though doubtful but that will throw a real spanner In the works!! Jan would be the easy option but Sammie won't be having that.

SpanishFly · 16/10/2019 10:54

But it's a game - they're all snakey to some extent.

2Rebecca · 16/10/2019 10:56

Tim made a big mistake in ditching Brooke rather than Joyce. No Joyce hadn't had much time but that meant no-one would have been upset at her departure. Woody then would have had to think harder about who to evict and not gone for the soft option of Joyce who would have been out soon anyway. He should have evicted Sammie as he was the main person suspecting Sammy of being a catfish and gone with his hunch.
Maybe a lesson to Woody that being nice, peace love etc is fine but to have a world like that you have to stop the wolves and snakes ceasing power, not just hope they don't exist and will play nice.

2Rebecca · 16/10/2019 10:57

Gaining power not ceasing

SpanishFly · 16/10/2019 11:28

Yes real life is more complex than "be nice and everyone will get along". I've learned that to my detriment many a time.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 16/10/2019 12:42

Completely agree @2Rebecca. Given how it's panned out, I think Sammie will win overall, or at least be the last person standing from the contestants votes.

I still like Georgina - don't blame her for being annoyed with Tim for blocking Brooke as they were in an alliance together.

I'd like Woody, Ella, Tim or Georgina to win. Hope Paddy goes as think he's such a horrible sex obsessed snake but Sammie will save him unfortunately.

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 16/10/2019 12:44

Anyone know why this thread never appears in my 'threads I'm on' list? It's still not appearing even though I've just commented!

2Rebecca · 16/10/2019 12:57

It's on mine but sometimes there is a delay between me commenting and it appearing on the list

aSofaNearYou · 16/10/2019 13:06

Well this Circle Revolution is definitely making it more entertaining but my GOD they are coming across as so annoying and unlikeable! I think if I was in their shoes I would have been more aware that sitting there whinging about everything and everyone is not going to win you any viewers votes, which is their other way of winning any money if they don't win the ratings.

I think it's highly unlikely that James will be able to convince Tim to block Ella, and personally I'm really hoping he tries and Tim puts two and two together and realises he's being tactical. Paired with the fact that Sammie is suddenly top rated out of nowhere, it should be pretty obvious she's started to be tactical if she is at all pushy here.

The obvious thing is for Jan to go, which is a shame because she really hasn't had much time. For the life of me I don't understand why James wasn't trying to get Jan on side. They have bonded over being mums and it should be obvious that there are two teams of three and having Jan on side would sway things in their favour. She has no deep connections with the other three so has nothing to lose.

I think not bothering to try and get Jan on his team before she (probably) gets blocked tomorrow so losing that opportunity, but trying to convince Tim to get rid of Ella and revealing his tactics in the process could be James' undoing. I hope so anyway because my God was he annoying last night. Perfectly fine that he wants the money, pretty sure we all would if we were being totally honest, but he's overly angry at everyone and it's just irritating.

SpanishFly · 16/10/2019 14:01

James seemed to flip personality over that one thing that Woody said. I'm wondering if he's said a few things previously that were edited out? It seems like such a dramatic switch. I get why he was offended, as it was one of the only things he has said as james so he took it personally. But to suddenly start acting like the Messiah seems a bit much.

aSofaNearYou · 16/10/2019 14:09

Totally agree @SpanishFly, I used to find Sammie quite entertaining and the little moments of him having to say embarrassing things (Tom Hardy's boxers) were charming enough. He also seemed really sincere about his admiration for his mum so all around he came across pretty well, but I feel like he's really ruining all that now.

He seemed really hot headed with how offended he got by Woody's comment - the task was to say how you would spend the money and literally every other person had done so I really don't see why James would assume that comment was directed at him, just because it came after his. The way he's still seething about it makes him come across as quite an easily riled person.

dayswithaY · 16/10/2019 14:11

I absolutely love James cranking up the pressure, it feels like the game has actually started now, this would have been so boring without it. There's only so much "love you" " keep doing you" fakery you can watch. The advantage of being a catfish is that you have to keep your guard up the whole time and you don't taken in by people trying to be your friend when they're not. I think James is really clever as he's had to try and keep one step ahead of the others. I really hope he pulls it off as I'm not so convinced that Tim is as nice as he seems. Clearly he will back Woody but Tim could easily be persuaded to dump Ella, he must have his doubts about her too.

And Woody - lovely words but this is a game, with big money at stake. If you want to spread peace and love go off and do it somewhere else.

carriemathisonshandbag · 16/10/2019 14:11

It all depends how far James wants to push it. He could outright lie to Tim and say that Ella has been awful to Sammie. That would be risky thought if Tim still refused to block Ella.

They all said it was quite late in the day for a blocking, so tiredness could come into it. James knows exactly how he is going to play it, while Tim just thinks it will be relatively easy, like previous blockings he has done with Sammie. If he's not psychologically prepared and tired, James might be able to persuade him.

Doyoumind · 16/10/2019 14:21

It is interesting how they seem to forget that the public is watching their behaviour but we've seen on other shows how quickly people can forget everything is being filmed. The isolation stops some people thinking critically and with James ramping up the paranoia and drama you can see how Georgina has become wrapped up in it all. She is really going to regret it afterwards when she watches it back having found out what he was up to.

aSofaNearYou · 16/10/2019 14:39

I don't understand Georgina and Paddy's game plan at all- yes they've formed a team but only one of them can actually win and Sammie is clearly the one who is benefiting from this. If I were them I would be either trying to strike a deal to vote tactically and split the winnings, or trying to be so entertaining and likeable I'd win the public vote.

They're definitely not doing that 🤔

2Rebecca · 16/10/2019 14:58

James now in his self centred nastiness is coming across as psychopathic. He just sees other players as pawns in his game and gets overheated when things don't go to plan.

itswinetime · 16/10/2019 15:17

The task wasn't to say how you would spend the money it was to say why you deserve to win. Abs everyone or lots Georgina, josh and Sammie used there intentions to do good with the money as part of the reason...I don't think woody meant anything but his comments and I don't think they were directed at anyone. I think James is cross off because I'm not sure his plans are genuine and he feels woody questioned that. Same way josh got so defensive when being called out as a catfish.

100PercentThatBitch · 16/10/2019 16:04

@InvisibleWomenMustBeRead

Having the same issue and having it on multiple threads, they do appear in "Watching"

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 16/10/2019 16:36

Thanks @100PercentThatBitch but it's not even in watching for me. I'm on the app and have to keep looking for this thread to comment. The same happens with another I'm on in Gaming, but any from AIBU seem to be there. All very bizarre!

itswinetime · 16/10/2019 16:44

Daily drop is out looks like James/Sammie May have pushed Tim to far and revealed that he is being tactical and Tim is having non of it!

100PercentThatBitch · 16/10/2019 16:44

I'm also on the app, should probably start a Site Stuff about it

itswinetime · 16/10/2019 16:44

*having none of it even

Loveislandaddict · 16/10/2019 16:45

Although I quite admire James for being so tactical, and after all, it is a game, I think he is also coming across quite mean spirited. It’s clever what he has done to form an alliance, but he seems quite nasty with it.

Hasn’t Georgina and Paddy realised that he could actually sacrifice those two to win at the end? That could be his long term aim.

Who will go tonight? The video clip on the app suggests that Tim isn’t being fooled by Sammie and realised that Sweet Innocent Single Mum Sammie is no more.

I think afterwards, they’ll all feel abit cheated by Sammie. Not because of the catfish-ing - that’s part of the game, but by some of his comments. Georgina will come out okay, because she has a nice personality (apart from this bitter streak we have seen), and Paddy will do ok as well. Ella, woody and Tim are all fairly strong characters, and are more in it for the experience, rather than the fame or fortune.
