The Circle is back on tonight (Channel 4, 9:15) and I am soooooo excited

I think James is very funny and quick-witted and he does best when he lets that part of his personality come through in Sammi. The rest of the time he’s too busy brown-nosing and “being there for everyone “.

I'm still loving Tim he is brilliant, the girl playing Josh is horrible. My final four are Tim, Sammie, Woody and Ella.

By her I meant Josh not Joyce re research skills. Sorry not clear. Josh did have time to plan it but hasn't.
I want Woody, Tim, Ella and Georgia in final 4. Don't care which of those wins. Probably wouldn't mind if Sammy won although I feel he's not been pressed much on baby questions to see if he is a catfish. Agree he is funny when not brown nosing. I think they were daft when they said his OTT reaction to the painting showed he wasn't lying. Over reacting to being caught out is what liars do. If you really have kids you don't care if other people think they are made up, you know they aren't.

Why did Brooke have it in for Woody? I think she's led Georgina a bum steer with her advice to brown nose and distrust Tim and Woody. She was biring until she left. They were right to block her. No way were they being tactical.

I think Brooke has been boring. Getting rid of her was a bit tactical because Tim and Ella maybe thought future influencers would ditch Joyce but maybe keep Brooke so they should ditch Brooke while they can and she wasn't popular enough to upset anyone except Georgina.

I think Ella has become the Regina George because she is the Regina George. She came in with a game plan from the beginning. The others took time to bed in but she was keen to stir stuff up and make strategic alliances. Everything she has done, has been very calculated.
I love that Joyce has figured out Josh. They should tell Tim and Ella I think part of 'Josh's' problem is that they went in with a very London-centric view of the world. So their 'world' is one where posh, white boys who snowboard are very popular and trendy young black women are on the outskirts. But, actually, the demographic in The Circle is much more mixed than that. Outside of that little London bubble, people are more likely to be irritated by posh white boys.

But that’s the thing KatyCarr, I don’t think posh white boys are particularly popular in London either. And Josh is coming across so one dimensional with zero personality. I don’t know if Busayo has planned it that way purposely, or perhaps it’s that she has no personality herself! Even when in the lads group chat with Woody and Paddy she gave Josh zero banter and they will just think he’s boring and got nothing to him.

Anyway looks like the game is up with regards to Josh anyhoo....

A posh English boy wouldn't be instantly popular here in Fife either. I think she is confusing attributes that can help you get on in the employment world (money for a good education, confidence, looking attractive) with characteristics that help you make friends easily with people who cant see you. For the latter you have to be more flexible and chameleon like (or snaky)

Really don't like the girl playing Josh and how stupid must she be not to have at least thought through the person she was meant to be! I hope she goes soon.

My favourites are still Tim and Woody and I really hope one of them wins. I would be fairly happy if Georgina won and maybe Ella (I really disliked her at first but she has grown on me a bit)

Petty I know but did anyone else notice Georgina said Brooke had told her to be "weary" of Woody rather than "wary"? I hate it when people say that

Roller I lived in Fife years ago! yy I meant with the Chelsea set but I think that must be the set RL girl 'Josh' is part of or aspires to be part of.

And yy to Brooke saying 'weary' - such an odd slip to make when she prided herself on being part of the #scholarsquad I still don't understand why she took against Woody.

I've been here over 15 years and happy here. Some of the most deprived bits of Fife are the whitest and least diverse though so the idea of white privilege doesn't make much sense here. St Andrew's university is probably the area with the greatest ethnic mix and that's pretty privileged. I think imagining the whole of the UK is like London is odd but then I've moved around a fair bit.

Love how happy 'Joyce' were at figuring out Josh was a catfish. It was so funny seeing that 'We've finally got something right in here!' moment come to them both. Can't wait to see who they tell about it. I'm warming to them and, although they won't win it, I want them to go further now.

I liked Brooke. She played a good game - and she can squat in heels! I'm sorry she was blocked. Tim coming out as a Thatcherite was a bit baffling. James is playing a blinder.

I was so surprised that brooke got blocked last night as they said she had enough time to show who she really was and because she was in with Tim and Georgia she through she was safe, but it shows you really do need to be in it to win it. I really hope 'Joyce' tells tim about Josh as it would be great to see what he thinks about that and how he will try to get something out of 'Josh' to see if hes a catfish. Really cant wait to see what's going on tonight, as its friday kids in bed wines out and circle time for me 🍷

Brooke deserved to go as she's boring. She didn't really contribute much, and I don't really feel we got to know her properly. 'Joyce' are dreadful, and probably the worst catfishers ever. But they had me in stitches with the Roy Orbison thing, they are both so vapid and thick and yet the are only ones who have sussed out Josh and they also got very close to sussing out Sammie the other night.

I think Woody will probably win.

Josh is worse at catfishing than Joyce. At least Joyce has the excuse of not being able to research a 60 year old woman. I can’t believe that Josh put a snowboarding pic as his profile and then failed to have a legitimate story to back it up. It was inevitable that he was going to be asked about it. I mean how lazy and stupid can you be? And the fact that she didn’t even pick up on the fact that it was her nail marks in the cake, that Joyce actually queried, that gave her away!

I’m actually not looking forward to tonight all that much as it will be a live show and I find they draaaaag.

Another who will watch when I can fast forward and not have to watch the live bits

I fell asleep last night before it came on so have avoided this thread till I got to watch it . I liked Brooke however do think Joyce is going to provide more entertainment.

While I quite like James I can’t see why Sammi is been kept in as there seems to be nothing more to her than the baby.

I think James is quite funny in the personal chats. Once he realised he had to stop talking about the baby all the time and let a bit of personality through. One of my favourite parts of the show so far was when he was rolling about laughing at Georgina's painting of him before pretending he was deeply offended

I just caught the daily drop ( can't watch the live show without being able to fast forward) whoever said about having no photos your either psychic or the producers are nicking your ideas!!!

I love how Tim's cat appears to answer him when he tooks to it. I had a cat like that growing up. Although it was just a moggy and not exotic breed like Tim's.

How long do I have to wait to start watching tonight’s recorded show to fast forward the adverts and the annoying live studio bits?
