I just zone out when Paul is on. There is nothing about him that interests me in the slightest. And as for Holy Billy; words fail me. He is the last person I would turn to for help.

There is nothing remotely vickery about Billy at all, in Emmerdale the vicar actually has an actual church, village hall, a congregation, we regularly see church services, weddings etc. What has Billy got? Not even a decent vicarage, just a poxy flat above the Preston’s Petals, it’s just so unconvincing (as is Billy)

Talking of Preston’s Petals, Corrie scriptwriters if you are reading this please can you change the name of Tracey’s shop to Barlow’s Blooms, it was never in keeping with Tracey’s character to name her shop after Robert [hmmm]

Gemma's mother should be told to do one and I'm curious about an extension on a council house with no planning permission etc

Did Paul confess at the police station? Been trying to watch on catch up but gave up as the screen froze every few minutes! Got to where Billy was called away to a parishioner..

I have always thought that about Billy. Does not appear to do much ''vicaring'' does he?. Must be a good life being a vicar, all he does is drink in the pub, chat to people in the cafe and all the time wearing his clerical collar just to prove who he is.What is the point of Summer as well.She is a hopeless actor only has one face and that is a miserable one.

It would be better for Summer to be living at the vicarage instead of being cooped up in the flat. She'd have somewhere quiet to do her homework, and space to have her friends round.

That scene with Dev and Mary discussing sex with Asha was beyond cringey and really distasteful. As if even Mary would use the phrase about the beast with two backs to such a young girl. The actors must have despaired when they read that script.

I was wondering if that was the same actress that was in Johnny Briggs - I think she was in Corrie as Debbie years ago. Have they explained why she wants to give away all the £200k and not keep some for herself?
The storyline about Asha was very moving and more original than the usual teen soap storylines. She’s emerging as a really good actress. I quite like the music teacher too, seems like he’s being set up to be a love interest for Mary.

I think that the skin lightening story is being covered extremely well, and is very true to life.
I was chatting to a fellow teacher some years ago and mentioned that I thought her daughter, P, was really pretty. She was surprised that I didn't think her older daughter, A, was more attractive as she had lighter skin.
