The Gary storyline is driving me mad. Actually makes me miss Phelan!!

Gary the gangsta storyline is awful.

Yeah so he can punch and kick- that doesn’t magic up any money. IN dereks shoes id have said “won’t that look a bit strange Gary, first Ryan appearing black and blue, and then me?” All it takes is for derek to tell everyone the craic and Gary’s rein of terror falls down around his ears. He’s entirely on his own. He has no henchmen. He doesn’t even have anyone chasing him for money he owes. Dereks holding all the cards here.

I kind of like Derek.

The new family - I still don’t know their names - surely we’re meant to think the staircase isn’t finished yet? Dad’s just put a few planks up to keep it safe in the meantime?

The new family leave me cold. Nothing about them is convincing.

When did Gary become a money-lender? Everything about his hard man act makes me laugh.

Camera man is either the cops... Private investigator... Or someone connected to Rick.

Cops seems to be a bit too obvious to me. But they could be investigating Ricks death and have Gary under surveillance.
A henchman of Rick's is a possibility I guess. Maybe someone Rick owed, now Gary owes etc.

My money, all Tuppence Ha'penny, is on a private investigator, employed by Rick's daughter to keep an eye on Gazza.

Was for the new family.. crikey. Ed seems ok TBF. But the Mum is terrible and the sons, one acts like he's in a kids Panto, all starey eyes and over the top grinning. The other acts like he's had lessons at the Keanu "Mr Plank" Reeves school of 90s acting, there's more life in the dodgy staircase...

Rita's AWOL.. I think working in the cabin must be hard work, she's had to go for a bit of a lie down for several weeks.

Still can't work out how they knocked through into Ken's living room. Surely that's where his under-stairs cupboard would be - so really, they'd have to knock into his cupboard and then again through into his living room.

Mrs Tenbe really needs to go back to Doctors. She's awful in Corry.

I think Adam has employed a Private Investigator to keep an eye on Gary.

Why on earth would Ryan not retaliate when Gary attacked him? And Derek looking scared of him? It's not as if he's a six foot two ex-boxer!

I know, it’s so stupid. Ryan could make a call to Ali and Robert and the three of them would mean a nice gangsta mince out of Gary.

Why did Ryan even go out to meet him outside the bar when he was “summonsed”? I would just ignore him. Force him to blow his top in public.

I had a thuggish neighbour who used to tell my DC to come and get me so he could throw his weight around about some issue. I used to stand at the window and peek out at him standing there waiting and getting more and more pissed off that I was taking so long. I never went. He got it eventually.

I initially thought private investigator had been hired by Rick's daughter but now think it's Adam as PP suggested. Adam has been suspicious of Gary from the start but don't think Adam realises he's a killer. I'm guessing we'll get another Phelan like storyline in time for Christmas.

Biggest Corrie mystery of all time - how is the wallpaper in kens house (where the neighbours knocked through) now perfectly repaired as if it never happened?! I thought they were going to use this as an excuse to redecorate, but they seem to have somehow sourced a roll of the same ancient wallpaper and papered over it flawlessly?!

I bet Ken is a Virgo (like DH), and keeps spare rolls of wallcovering and tiles in the attic!

Is it just me or does Adam desperately need a trip to the barbers? Maybe he’s so hairy because David’s in prison and will get a nice short back n sides in a couple of months when David is released. Likewise Ali.
Also is it just me or does the Dad from the new family sound just like Trigger from Only Fools and Horses?

Gail just upped and left for Hong Kong or somewhere in the Far East about six weeks ago.

If my DH had lost our house due to gambling I would not be organising a birthday party for him.

Yes! as if Ryan could not have fought back, Gary ain’t no Phil Mitchell. I agree with Adam needing a haircut he needs to go back to looking like this please, and dump the second hand car dealer look!
