Last thread was full.

I posted this in the last thread but will post again here. It’s what I understand they’ve done to Norris’s house.

Yes I thought Roy was going to pay Aggie to nurse his brother while he stayed in the cafe, but of course that would be too logical. Why the hell doesn't she go back to nursing, surely it would pay better than the local greasy spoon.

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 18/12/2019 16:52

The Aggies house really irritates me far more than a fake house should Grin what they’ve done is awful.

eggandonion · 18/12/2019 16:55

They also talk to professionals in the Rovers - solicitors, barristers, that nice accountant whose husband wasn't a marine biologist. Or in the cafe so Aggie can listen in.
I wish Maura from the health centre would reappear. She's great.

thenightsky · 18/12/2019 20:07

I'm convinced the Aggie dad went to the same school of acting as Dev. Incidentally, where has Dev gone?

TheSquitz · 18/12/2019 20:17

Dev was in it a few episodes back, speculating about Robert killing Michelle. What happened to the skin bleaching storyline?

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 18/12/2019 20:32

I think he took her to the doctors and that was the end of it.

Poor Roy. Does Nina know Roy left the brother alone?

Clawdy · 18/12/2019 21:11

Well, she does now!

Redshoeblueshoe · 18/12/2019 21:27

Don't worry in 3 months Nina will be in the latest fashions with a big bun on her head Xmas Shock

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 18/12/2019 22:49

Are we guessing who's buying the bistro or are we just expecting it to be that creepy hotel guy that was suing Michelle and threatened her not too long ago?

Redshoeblueshoe · 18/12/2019 22:51

Monkey I'm thinking creepy hotel guy

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 18/12/2019 23:08

OH YES! I’d forgotten about him.

Redshoeblueshoe · 19/12/2019 12:00

Or Gary ? On a mission to rule Weatherfield

thenightsky · 19/12/2019 12:06

If its creepy hotel guy, then will he put Allia in charge?

MissDew · 19/12/2019 13:12

What's up with Norris ? He was being cagey around Rita.

Rita is obviously at a loose end. Does she not Manage The Kabin anymore ?

MissDew · 19/12/2019 13:12

Oh, and what was that deal in an alleyway done between Gary and bloke I don't recognise ?

Drum2018 · 19/12/2019 13:16

Rita's storyline is annoying. She took time off work to visit Emily and that visit was cancelled. You'd swear she has been alone for months, not days. Surely to god she could go round and help Gemma and Chesney with the babies.

northernstars · 19/12/2019 13:33

This is what I thought so absolutely not a spoiler as I don't read them and it's probably unlikely. Robert and Vicki doing a deal behind Michelle's back??

ellenanora5 · 19/12/2019 13:52

MissDew, I think Gary was checking that he could trust Ryan not to open it and talk badly about him, he'll probably let Ryan work for him now.

I felt the same about Rita Drum2018 it's only been a few days, why doesn't she go visit Mavis, I did enjoy looking at the old photos, I remember watching those episodes.

eggandonion · 19/12/2019 14:48

I don't want Ryan mixed up with Gary.

desperatehousewife21 · 19/12/2019 18:17

Agree about the acting skills of the Aggie family. Esp the dad and the footballer son Hmm

hellcarryingahandbag · 19/12/2019 18:58

Did anyone else find Nina’s “you must insist, are you for real?” funny?

nildesparandum · 19/12/2019 22:34

Re. Rita's strange behaviour.I think Corrie is tacking a ''lonely at Christmas issue'' and using Rita as the subject.

Clawdy · 19/12/2019 22:48

nildesperandum think you are right. They are trying to tick another "issues" box. Bit silly though because she has lots of friends on the street, so why is she suddenly lonely?

Deadjinglebellringer · 19/12/2019 23:31

Why doesn't Rita go sit in the pub, Jenny is practically family and she has lots of friends. Just nonsense.

Redshoeblueshoe · 19/12/2019 23:48

Rita has always treated Jenny and Sally as family, and now we're supposed to think that the poor lonely old Rita is struggling.

In fact a really good storyline for Christmas would have been Shaun remembering that he was homeless earlier this year, so doing something to help people less fortunate than himself, either soup kitchen, food bank or even think of something else nice he could do
