Last thread was full.

I posted this in the last thread but will post again here. It’s what I understand they’ve done to Norris’s house.

You’re forgiven- I actually had to stop typing and think “what’s that lads name?” Grin

I thought of him but surely he would have been with ken/peter/Daniel/some family due to the funeral?

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 19/11/2019 13:02

Whoever it was knew when the funeral was and wasn't at the funeral.
That's doesn't leave many people. Kel, Paul, Gemma's mum, Bethany, anyone else who wasn't there?

I think it'd probably make more sense if it wasn't anyone on the street. Just a random opportunist that saw Daniel leave.

thenightsky · 19/11/2019 13:56

Ooh... good call re Bethany! Didn't she say something about 'I've done something terrible'… but we were all meant to assume she was referring to the kiss. Shock

ajandjjmum · 19/11/2019 13:57

Oh no - I've always liked Bethany. It would be so sad if she turned in to someone who could do that! Sad

IWorkAtTheCheescakeFactory · 19/11/2019 14:32

OOoh Bethany! What would her motive be? Angry with Daniel for putting her in that position?

eddiemairswife · 19/11/2019 15:09

Completely irrelevant, but I think Daniel is a drip, I always have thought so; I think it's the dimple in his chin that makes me feel this.

BreconBeBuggered · 19/11/2019 15:19

Kel's the street wrong 'un of the moment, so I reckon it has to be him, maybe with an accomplice. I suppose there's Gary as well, but he's risen above petty theft and burglary.

ToEarlyForDecorations · 19/11/2019 22:31

What's the excuse for Simon's absence ?

I know the actor, aged 16 in real life and his girlfriend had a baby recently.

I've realised I'm pissed off with Fiz as well. I used to really like her but she seems fake now. Her relationship with Tyrone has next to no warmth or excitement to it, either.

Kevin seems like a bit part. Why did Sally and Tim go to Sinead's funeral ? They didn't seem to know her that well.

I can't bear the co-ercive control story line either with Tim's Dad and partner. I put the sound on mute when they have their scenes.

Coronation street is on another nose dive IMO.

PennyRoyal · 19/11/2019 22:43

Simon was there at the funeral and he did appear the other day when Amy was talking about Tyler. He's not had a story for a while (in real life gcses and baby to contend with I guess!) but he's in the background.

Sally & Tim went to the funeral not only as neighbours and pub regulars but also Sally worked with Sinead.

I'm wondering if the burglar might be the new niece of Roy? A way into the street maybe? And then Roy will find laptop and make everything better again.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 19/11/2019 22:48

I think they waited far too long to do Sinead’s funeral it lost the emotion it deserved.

SgtFredColon · 20/11/2019 09:20

I normally love a soap funeral so tuned in for once. Rubbish! Especially the bit where Beth put the jukebox on Hmm

Only good bit was Daniel going off on Chesney.

IWorkAtTheCheescakeFactory · 20/11/2019 09:26

What the hell was chesney thinking! Sobbing on the shoulder of his ex girlfriends husband about how much he loved her and how guilty he felt!! That was only going to end one way!

BreconBeBuggered · 20/11/2019 13:17

Soap funerals are always a bit weird. Young person, struck down in the prime of life (and that's usually what you get); loads of friends, relatives and neighbours. In real life it'd be standing room only at the service, but in soaps there's always plenty of space. You'd think a couple of dozen extras to fill the pews properly wouldn't hurt.

TheSquitz · 20/11/2019 21:07

If Paul moves in with Billy, it'll be very snug what with Sean sleeping in the sofa Confused

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 20/11/2019 23:15

Has anyone seen Preacher? It's on Amazon.. I think Adam is a fan..

desperatehousewife21 · 21/11/2019 07:02

Yes love preacher (and Dominic Cooper Wink) obv Adam took a pic into the barbers from that!

northernstars · 21/11/2019 10:34

I have to admit I'm doing a lot of fast forwarding these days.

NCTDN · 21/11/2019 21:35

What was Chesney wearing at the funeral?Shock

PrincessScarlett · 22/11/2019 21:29

I thought Paul, Gemma and Bernie were all excellent tonight. Bernie showed what a great actress she is, at last!, as you could see the utter devastation she felt at not being able to protect Paul when he was a boy.

TheSquitz · 22/11/2019 21:46

I agree PrincessScarlett some great acting.

IWorkAtTheCheescakeFactory · 22/11/2019 21:50

Paul is playing this so well. I thought he was an awful character when he first showed up (and he was tbf) but they’ve done this story really well.

Michaels mum “she went and got herself pregnant”

Hmm err, I think you’ll find your son did that. Women can’t get themselves pregnant!

LHMB · 23/11/2019 00:28

IWorkAtTheCheescakeFactory I thought exactly the same when she said that

SgtFredColon · 23/11/2019 11:40

I love Paul now. And hated him at the start. Very good scenes

NearlyOutedMyself · 23/11/2019 12:13

*Michaels mum “she went and got herself pregnant”

err, I think you’ll find your son did that. Women can’t get themselves pregnant!*

I shouted this at the tv. Depressing to see a female character saying this.

TheUnquestionedAnswer · 24/11/2019 08:22

Michael's mum gets on my nerves. The scenes from Paul and his mum were very good. Were some of the photos blurred out as they were meant to be indecent? So glad his mum reported the crime(s).
