If goth girl becomes a regular, how long before she isn't a goth anymore?

( Comedy with Lisa Tarbuck , it was quite funny in the beginning then it went a bit meh )
His Mum (old battleaxe ) was at odds with Brenda (girlfriend)
They went burdwatching on his motor bike and side car

In an effort to reduce the amount Gemma's mum owed for the bottles from the minibar, why didn't anyone suggest returning the unopened ones to the hotel?

That scene where Roy and his brother sat talking quietly together in the bedroom was one of the few realistic and well-acted scenes that we see now the programme.

I was thinking the same Clawdy - Roy is so good and they hardly use him. I liked the fact that the brother appeared to be a bit like Roy too with all his books and stuff. Not so sure about the surly goth daughter who no doubt will be living with Roy this time next week.

@Clawdy totally agree with you about the acting, it was really nice to feel involved with how this might go and how sensitive Roy was being, etc. As opposed to the melodrama/farce that is Robert and his women in the hospital. Ffs, Robert, just tell Michelle will you? He will be taking the kid to university open days and still lying about getting stuck in traffic...

Wouldn't it be fabulous if the brother made a recovery, and Roy had 'family' around. Very sad as it is.

How slow is Michelle! (And Carla) she sits telling Carla all these clues and neither of the two manage to see what’s staring them in the face.

Roy and brother scenes were lovely.

Yes that's just what the street needs, another orphan. it would be nice if Roy had some time with his brother, but it's not looking good. The Robert story is daft, not looking forward to all the eye rolling and arm folding when Michelle finds out.

Are the quads still in hospital? Or are we supposed to believe that they were all asleep upstairs? The Corrie 24 hour invisible childminder is going to have her hands full soon.

They were all asleep - the house was no messier than normal - what wonderful babies they have in Corrie.

The quads were moved to Weatherfield general apparently.

They're still in hospital Deadringer, but seeing as how they are going to be the FreshCo Four I presume they won't be for long, considering the FreshCo rep was talking about how cute they would be in their christmas outfits, I really hope she was talking about next christmas.

Agree about the scenes with Roy and his brother, very well done, but yes the daughter will be living with Roy very soon causing all sorts of problems then she will get her act together, go to college and get a job in either the corner shop, the kebab shop or the pub and fall in love with Sophie or Daniel.

It would be great if she fell in love with Sophie Sophie is off travelling half way round the world

I'll bet that the goth girl will be transgender, as Hayley was transgender and used to be Harold then Roy will be a sympathetic ally to her/him.

Oh god I really hope not.

I think this shows how nice it would be for Roy to have like-minded people around him - an ongoing relationship with his new-found brother would be great, although sadly it looks like we won’t be getting that. Instead, he is treated as the street oddball and patronised to within an inch of his life by the likes of Carla, who treats him like a senile old man.

Interesting that you see it like that Jemima - I always think that you can see how much Carla thinks of Roy, and that she is respectful of his character, while still trying to look out for him.

I think it plays that she is quite intrusive and controlling of him.

I agree with you Jemima about Roy and Carla, but I may be biased because I can't stand Carla.

Gawd the ( ? Nurse/ Carer ) visiting Roy's brother was so rude and unprofessional. (Giving information out , "I'm running late as it is" , eye rolling )
I was disappointed Carla didn't poke her in the eye and tell her to mind her manners .

Yes, it was an odd portrayal of a care worker. And I don't believe she would have let two strangers into her patient's home, and left them there with him.
