I don't get how Maria has been living close by Ali and Gary all these years, and has suddenly found a huge appeal in both of them - in turn - in such a short time.

Completely agree with @Honeyroar about Maria. She seems desperate to get Gary into bed, first date and they kissed then she said to go back to hers, they get there and she wants to get into bed with him but poor Emma is on the floor. Then again last night Maria led him to the bedroom. Don’t like how ‘easy’ she is coming across on screen.

I felt a bit sick at Emma agreeing to call Steve dad last night. Him saying “I’ve been your dad since you were born”. Maybe so but she had an actual dad that raised her and loved her and only died a weeks ago. I wish the writers had had her say all that instead of just saying “ok I’ll call you dad then.” It’s not as if Steve doesn’t have anyone to call him dad already. This isn’t a much longed for child.

Prem babies never share an incubator, but they often share a cot when they are bigger and stronger.
in our NNU any visitors are allowed (over 16 unless sibling) within limited times, but only parents allowed to hold babies.
We often have toddler siblings wandering around, we have toys for them and 'sibling' goodie bags.

Why is Gary acting like Maria and him are a long term relationship? He only asked her to bloody lunch!

Oh yes I hated the whole Emma calling Steve dad thing too. She had a dad who she loved and recently lost, why would she agree to suddenly call Steve dad particularly as he was acting like such an idiot, it was hardly endearing. She and Steve would both surely think it was disrespectful.

Maria clearly doesn’t read mumsnet, Gary’s behaviour had major red flags!

And when is Gary going to get his comeuppance for killing Rana?

I suppose Rana would be manslaughter, because her death was as a result of his slipshod workmanship, but he murdered Rick(?) whose daughter turned up some weeks ago. He can't be allowed to get away with that.

He deliberately sabotaged the roof Eddie, it would still be manslaughter though I think. And he killed Rick in self defense, though I think he would have a hard time proving that. I also can't understand why Maria was trying to get Gary into bed, she has never looked twice at him before.

I can't understand why anyone would try to get Gary into bed.

Looking at the map, Llandudno is a lot closer to Manchester than Llanelli (still well over hour and half drive though).

Me too. After the intensity and weight with which they portrayed the story it doesn’t well at all that they are trying to make comedy scenes out of choosing the headstone. This isn’t only fools and horses.

Kevs eyeballs almost turned love heart shaped when he was looking at Abbie in the pub 😂 sally won't like that. I did find it funny when she tipped the spag Bol on her head. As for Sineads mom trying to take over the funeral she was hardly even around for sinead so what gives her the right, Beth is doing my head in with her moody attitude to everybody that's just trying to help.
