If Male Lawyer is on with the "anti CCTV" group, was Hannah in with them too?

humansympathique · 25/09/2019 08:27

Def sig newmodel re hannah - Cd be read as nervous as a swf on a night bus in s london badlands, but no she was def scared of followers. Cd possibly explain why she left the pub hastily?
Episode seems to have confirmed that mr grey involved in doctoring cctv to convict known terror suspects (sycamore +) but not the hannah footage. He seems to be a straightish but compromised cop using bent means to stop bad ppl (to me!). That suggests frank/ms grey doctored the hannah footage? If so why asking shaun where hannah was, unless maybe as a bluff.
Suggestion that mr lawyer - who masterminded the shaun taliban defence - is head of some anti big brother resistance group?? Maybe with ex or scared for future society services people?? Or maybe not! Either way found that bit silly. When shaun has his visions of hannah, is the caked mud and blood bit mixing with afghan battleground? His vision is slowly expanding towards a big reveal. Great episode

humansympathique · 25/09/2019 08:35

Great episode for me. Bad one for the anti wet eye brigade

humansympathique · 25/09/2019 08:40

Correction
Rectify a mistake
Amend something
Natural reduction in something overinflated
Punishment of criminals

SoupDragon · 25/09/2019 08:40

Not that it is relevant, but from looking at Street View the house Rachel says they should have searched is actually 48 Eaton Place. The house they originally searched is also actually 48 Eaton Place.

HappyAxolotyl · 25/09/2019 09:04

I wondered if that really was Hannah in the boot of that car. She was bagged up and whisked off by private ambulance to a different mortuary than expected. No forensics at the scene. Could the body have been a dummy?

Alwaysgrey · 25/09/2019 10:23

I absolutely love this. I’m confused as hell but it’s really good to watch. Gutted I have another week to wait for the next one.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/09/2019 13:55

Didn't they say that it looked as if she'd only just died - the body in the car looked as if it had been dead for longer than that.

SoupDragon · 25/09/2019 14:54

They said she'd been dead for a few hours I thought. Certainly shorter than she'd been missing for. I thought she looked quite "fresh" (and a little surprised,) but, oddly enough, I'm no expert.

I think the whole series is only meant to be set over 4 days or something.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/09/2019 15:17

Nor am, I but I thought there was a glazed look to her that suggested she'd been dead for longer clearly watched too many episodes of Silent Witness over the years

SaintWillibald · 25/09/2019 16:30

@BelindaBlinkingBlumenthall not sure Paul Ritter was in Killing Eve but was definitely in No Offence. I think he’s brilliant and hope he survives his coma!

Does anyone know what ‘warrantry’ means? Both Rachel and Danny used the word In last night’s episode and I can’t find a definition.

Loving the series, just hope the explanation isn’t too convoluted and disappointing.

The80sweregreat · 25/09/2019 16:39

I thought ' warranty' just meant ' warrant paper work' to search a property.
Probably wrong!

SaintWillibald · 25/09/2019 18:59

@the80sweregreat thank you. That’s what we wondered but it seemed so deliberate, the way they said it. I think we’re trying to be too clever, second guessing everything!

The80sweregreat · 25/09/2019 19:02

I'm not sure but I just think it's a posh way of saying ' warrant' 😀
I've no idea really

CurlsandCurves · 25/09/2019 20:29

Haven’t rtft, but the American guy with the tache was Vincent, the beast in 90s show Beauty and the Beast.

The80sweregreat · 25/09/2019 21:11

I've never seen Beauty and the beast or The hellboy films so I had no idea who he was till my sons told me and then I looked him up.
Nice looking man!

EmAreSea · 25/09/2019 22:27

Ron Perlman was in Sons of Anarchy, Paul Ritter was most recently in Chernobyl.

As for the rest of the programme- I have no idea WTF is going on...

mrsmuddlepies · 25/09/2019 23:38

Who is the actress playing Danny Hart's wife at the top of The Shard? I just can't quite remember

Octonaught · 25/09/2019 23:53

So Charlie the solicitor was in on “something”. Good call pp upthread.
The teary eyes are getting annoying now.

Completely unrelated and shallow, but Shaun looked really good in the nightclub lights; all those photogenic angles.

Rhubarb01 · 26/09/2019 00:21

@mrsmuddlepies the actress playing Danny Hart's wife is Esther Hall - I had to rack my brains to think where I'd seen her and then I remembered she played Tom Quinn's (Matthew MacFadyen) girlfriend called Ellie in the first series of Spooks. I'm sure she's done lots of other stuff, but that's the one that stuck with me.

DocFartin · 26/09/2019 06:32

@SaintWillibald

I've just googled, you're right!! in my head Paul Haigh has morphed into Paul Ritter!

He is ace - I forgot about No Offence, I loved that programme

SoupDragon · 26/09/2019 07:11

She was the woman in the Nescafé Gold ads from the 90s or thereabouts. She's also been in something else recently which is why I know that!

SoupDragon · 26/09/2019 07:13

She was a GP in Eastenders. That's where I've seen her recently.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/09/2019 07:25

@SoupDragon spot on - I think she may have been in another soap too at some point?

SoupDragon · 26/09/2019 07:53

Yes - Coronation Street according to google but I don't watch that. BT ads with Kris Marshall too. She's been in other things briefly as well. It's odd though as I find her really recognisable but it seems I've seen her in very little!
