@lonely yes absolutely agree 're Amber. I find it really hard to pitch these conversations with DD - she gets defensive about her/her friends opinions really quickly. Typical teen girl probably. I even try to use my own experience - she knows I had an abusive ex, I've always been open about it, but now I get the eye rolling and 'here we go again' face. She's lovely really though 😁😁

I was so happy that Amber picked Greg. I really wanted Michael to go back to her straight after Casa Amor but as time as went on and he’s shown himself up to be the weasel he is he has become less and less attractive. When he first came in I was like OMG his ears are tiny! Then he and amber were so cute together and I stopped seeing his tiny ears. Now that’s all I can see again.

I hope he leaves on Sunday and Amber and Greg have time to blossom.

Personally I think Maura is fuming a bit that she went for Curtis and backed herself into a corner then gregg came in but it might have just been editing 🤷🏻‍♀️

They will do the family visit they always do but it's not always parents sometimes it's siblings of the parents don't want to go on tv. But it isn't till the last few days! I just hope Micheal is out on this vote but I doubt it vote to save is always tricker than vote evict to predict plus we still whatever twist the producers will put on it all

Michaels personality has changed he is awful and manipulative...he was lovely at the start but maybe that was an act.....Greg is a bit boring and imo not nice looking at all. Chris is really just clutching at straws now! And I know this may sound vile but it's like a student and teacher thing!

I think Micheal's a real scumbag for the way he's behaved but is it just me but is Amber really full of herself? Actually listening to her conversations, she seems to have no sense of humility.

Dial I thought that at first about Amber and didn't like the way she always grinned in confrontational situations.

Now I've been watching for a while it's clear to me that the smile is a nervous habit and that her bigging herself up (for example when she declared herself better than Joanna in every way) is a method of self protection. I think she's actually quite a vulnerable woman and she seems to have grown quite a bit over the last few weeks.

Agreed @twattymctwatterson (loving the name btw). Yes - it was exactly that behaviour, sly digs at Joanna that I found unnecessary. Why do some girls do that? When it should be Micheal she should shaming. I get the feeling if it were in the real world, she'd be straight back into the same destructive relationship.

I don't think she lacks self worth I think she was embarrassed, mortified and lashing out as a result. Tbh the behaviour that night was understandable although not justified. I see a lot of self protection involved in her behaviour.

I think it would be very naive to think the producers don't tell newbies who to talk to/create drama with. I know everyone wants to believe it's 100% reality but previous contestants have admitted scenarios in which they were directly told what to do. Adam last year was told to steal a girl off someone. I don't believe the Maura and Curtis thing for starters. I think she just wants to be like Olivia Atwood but Olivia is actually funny.

When they did their personal intros on the first day, she described herself as a complete diva. No changes or surprises, really.

Amber said in her VT she has never been turned down and I think she said she rated herself a 10 as well? Maybe I'm making that up. But she does come across very confident in the way she looks.

Yes and in the partners quiz she said she didn’t have a worst feature! She is gorgeous though to be fair.

But his addition made the number of boys in the villa more than the girls. If he was going to couple up and achieve safety, he has to "steal" one of the girls. I don't see how that's producer manipulation.

The producers do not interfere in the recouplings. The islanders choose themselves. Yes they direct other areas but no islander is picking someone because the producers say they have to.

Yes but at this point most of them weren't really interested in each other. The only people who were were Kendall and Niall.
Adam has actually come out and said he was told to do it and they said he would look like an arse hole but it's good publicity. The interview is online. Quite a few previous islanders have come out and said similar things.

Yeah this is a comment taken out of context... he was sent in after everyone had coupled up and given 24hrs to take someone's partner the public knew that was happening there was no hidden take this girl do that chat. Adams point was that instantly painted him as a bad guy and the show then encouraged that image so putting him in situations that would make him look like a player ect. While I think he has a point the show is highly manipulated we all know that he also has a vested interest in blaming the show for a negative image. I don't believe any producer sat down and made him behave the way he did in his chat with Rosie for example!

The show is manipulated situations are created to encourage certain things promote certain perceptions of course but I don't think they can tell the islanders what to say or do without putting on of the those disclaimers you get with TOWIE, MIC ect there are quite strict rules around broadcasting
