Come on, if Ted had hidden the money that would even be more suspicious. It wasn't even in the room safe or a drawer fgs. He didn't want the dubious Gill's 'help'. Wrapping the laptop in bubble wrap and taking it to the PC place was an insurance policy. I reckon he had the hard drive copied and stored somewhere.

He has acted so suspiciously though, I reckon his only chance is Kate and Steve finding out what has really been going on.

Er, anyone else notice that there was another 'H' on the police visitors list for Blackthorn the day Ted went to see Banks? Hall was underneath Hastings!

As PP’s have said, this series is quite different than seasons 1-4. In fact, if I didn’t know better, I’d think series 5 was written by someone other than Jed Mercurio. Really hoping that the finale ties up the loose ends.

I think there is a sub AC12 operating. I think Kate and Steve have proven they are honest by virtue of the fact they reported their findings to the Chief Constable (who IS corrupt). The fact Gill Bungalow sought him out to deliver his suspension papers but not before offering to give him an outer to retire and leave the job, makes it appear she is desperate for him to stop being involved in AC12 as he is getting too close . Steves ex is also dodgy and her attempts to seduce him had a motive . The WPc in the office is the link to the sub AC12 reporting stuff that is going on.

Most importantly, Ted is INNOCENT and although we don't like her , Carmichael may prove this .

If Ryan is allowed to join the police, I won’t be watching series 6, stretch of the imagination too far (and he’s vile).

Mm methinks Ryan will vanish and reappear in the next series

As a PP said the vindication of Ted will be the baseline for S6.

Tell you one thing though fella, with every episode of this series it’s increasingly obvious you really have had to see S1 at least - if not all to date.

The more I think about it, the more I think just Ted has been so deliberately blatant about the dodgy stuff - the Fahrenheit order, the prison visit, the nightclub visit - that it's as if he wanted Steve and Kate to report him. There's no way he's that stupid or naive so there's method in his madness.

Ted is deep undercover!! I have no fear that all will be put right next week (I hope!!!!!) undercover or set up?

I don't get why they bothered to put bits of Jackie Laverty in with 'Clayton's' body.

Well they made a big thing about Ryan's exams and his interview and they have kept him out of all the big jobs.
