Now, I'm a bit confused, as I thought i had started this thread already, but I'm having a rubbish day back and forth with the dog to the vet.

He is now off for surgery, so I'm very stressed, and need this to be a distraction. Sad

So...there could be a duplicate thread somewhere, and I seem to have lost itGrin.

I've discovered there will be a public vote at some point too- to get back someone from the knock out rounds.

I'm not sure I care that much about any of the acts chucked out, to be honest! Grin

So- in the hope I don't mess up this thread, see you later...

Grin

English Breakfast Tea?

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:28

I’ve got some posh looking tea to go with the biscuits,

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 21:28

I saw an advert for BGT earlier- it looks like Ant is being rehabilitated!

FreezerBird · 23/03/2019 21:28

Hang on, I misread and thought you meant an ex-pat family who might have particular things they miss. HP might be pushing it if they haven't encountered it before.

Lovely strawberry jam? Or marmalade?

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:29

I think marmite might be about as popular as a bowl of cold sick

Elderflower14 · 23/03/2019 21:29

Holiday yes!
35 grand yes!
Ollys car? No...
I don't drive!!

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 21:29

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 21:29

Point of order nancy ! Shortbread is Scottish!!!!

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:30

They are Spanish people, I’m guessing HP sauce might be received with a horrified look Grin

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 21:30

I LOVE Marmite!

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 21:30

Oops, so are Tunnocks!

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:31

Piggywaspushed I know shortbread is Scottish, but the tin has some kind of royal/union jack stuff in the front, they won’t know the difference!

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 21:31

Yes, yes Tunnocks are also Scottish

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 21:31

An American came to my wedding last week and is now touring the UK- they posted on Facebook today that they'd discovered Marmite and loved it! Weirdo.

The80sweregreat · 23/03/2019 21:32

B G T ; I hoped that show had finished years ago.

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 21:32

IrnBru?

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:32

Marmite is not allowed here, dp is Aussie & insists on vegemite, all equally bad in my opinion!

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 21:32

nancy, I am going to glare darkly at you and point out that the Union Jack is British. Not English ...

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 21:33

Now Now Bit !!! Angry Don't enrage a Glaswegian or a Shanghai Surprise might be the least of your worries.

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 21:34
