Totally agree about the wages and the passports. Also Gary's way of convincing people to part with their cash is that their debt with Rick would be written off as he no longer has their passports. Can't imagine Rick will be forgetting about debt he's 'owed'.

Yes, the passport fiasco is ridiculous. Pay Gary £200 for your passport back, or get a new one for around £80 - no brainer. Confused

The way Nick behaved when he was being interviewed makes me want him to go to prison for a long time even more. He's just so smug and thinks that he can keep talking down to people and being condescending, he's nowhere near as clever as he thinks he is. It was a rubbish evening of Corrie as usual, but when David told Nick he didn't confess and now owns the barbers, I did cheer a little.

But the laziness of writing is really getting to me now, the writers really do think very little of their viewers if they expect us to believe that those passports at £100-200 each is enough for 8 wages and that people wouldn't just say no and renew the passport for cheaper.

Nick is utterly charmless. What on Earth does Leanne see in him? He has no sense of humour, doesnt smile or flirt with her, all he does is grimace and condescend and be all “stressy”. Where’s the attraction?

Why are Audrey and Bethany telling Sarah to take Gary back? He had a baby with another woman and has lied to her about money and work etc about 5 times!

Oooh I love it when David and Nick are at war. I hope David wipes the floor with him. When Nick told the police about David being raped I gasped at how low he will go to save his own skin.

I missed Nick and David’s police interviews as my friend phoned. But I could see nicks grimacing face.

How does the contract help David now? I’m guessing there is nothing in it that says “if you take the blame”, it just says nick is handing everything over to David?

I didn't notice until it was pointed out on here but Kate always has her hair so that the top of her ears are covered by it. You never see them which led to us speculating as to why. Once it's pointed out, you can't help but see it every time she's on the screen

On This Morning the soap corespondent said that Corrie was harking back to the old days with humour , however imho if the writers think adding 4 babies to the mix with Gemma is going to be funny they clearly are even more delusional than we think! It’s not going to work, it’s a bloody terrible idea, plus they are going to need 8 babies at least due to the hours children are allowed to work, a silly expensive idea, spend that money on better writers ffs!

Perhaps they will write Gemma and the babies and Chesney if possible out by the offer of accommodation and support from someone at the other end of the country. Wishful thinking on my part ...
