It looks like they're really fleshing her out as a character. I don't know if she's popular with fans or if the writers just.like her, but it seems she's becoming a main cast member. Before you know it there will be a whole Winters Clan on the cobbles.

New Vera Duckworth, as Beth has mellowed. Yes, she must have a mum (and dad), you are right Monkey, they'll be rocking up too. Personally, I can't stand her, a great big overgrown babby!

I don't like her pairing with Rita. No way would Rita have Paul living there or put up with Gemma. (Maybe that's because I watch Classic Corrie and Rita is more Queen Bee then)

Why is every woman of and over a certain age suddenly swooning all over Jan (Yan?). I mean he seems a nice bloke but he doesn't make my heart race. He's awfully hairy.
Probably turn out to be some sort of psycho connected somehow to that lass Seb is seeing.

How come Mary is swooning all over this, 'Jan' bloke with Norris back supposedly on the scene ? There's some legacy storylines having to be tidied away, isn't there ? Thought Jan and Eileen could make a go of it. Can the horrible practice manager who also seems to have an interest in Jan bugger off again to parts unknown.

Norris isn't holding a cat on a surface. That's where the picture of him and the cat has been placed.

The deaf lady is Emily's cousin or niece. I thought that is who she went to stay with when she came back from Peru.

Nary a mention of Emily who is supposed to be taking care of Freda who was so ill that Norris also had to help out. Now Freda is on t'Street and Mary doesn't think to phone Emily if Norris is not contactable. All pants!

It's ridiculous how Emily has been air-brushed out of the programme. We all know that the actress is elderly and had requested a break, but no-one mentions having heard from her, or wonders how she is. Perhaps Freda will give us some news of her.

I really hope Eileen Derbyshire comes back but it's a shame if she doesn't and her character is just forgotten. Hopefully if Michael Hebdon's character comes back then it will be used as a way to remind everyone of Emily.

Mary and Norris are married, so doesn't that make Norris's house the marital home? Doesn't that make it kind of hard for him to just sell up? I know Coronation Street is fictional but it just seems beyond suspension of belief at times.
