If Leah and Rose are related (sisters), maybe Rose's real target for her revenge is their father. She said that her mother killed herself. If it's true, perhaps she blames (Peter Firth). Maybe the next two episodes will bring him more to the fore, but that still sounds too simple and obvious. I hope it's something else/better/vaguely believable.

This is the second consecutive dud that ITV have massively promoted. (Cleaning Up previous) Both stories had good potential plots and strong lead actors but have developed into farce. I know it is entertaining fictional drama but there is a limit to how much viewers can suspend their belief. That said I have watched both so I guess the joke is on me

I wondered if Rose had had a fling with Leah's Dad when he was her lecturer.
We know she had been his student as Leah and Dad spoke about it in episode 1.
He said he couldn't remember her and one of them made a comment about when you see so many they all merge into one IIRC.
Like PP, I wondered if the Dad is the revenge target and she is doing it by destroying his daughter's career, marriage and sanity.

Does anyone know what medication Leah is on? I couldn’t see the label properly

I’m finding it silly but v watchable. The actor playing Adam is awful and I notice his wife IRL, Jessica Raine, is currently hamming it up in Baptiste, which is pretty dire
