It's back on More4 end of March/ beginning of April. And we're in for a treat, Michael Sheen is playing what appears to be a bit of a reckless lawyer. I've been in love with Michael Sheen since he played Lucian in Underworld (phwooaarrr). Admittedly he's been in some dodgy films since then but all is forgiven as far as I'm concerned.

More plot information and a trailer is here:

I think Season 3 might be starting on 28 March (9pm, More4).

southeastdweller · 21/03/2019 08:18

Yep, I checked in the Radio Times yesterday - it starts next Thursday.

oldowlgirl · 21/03/2019 12:47

That's great, thanks!

PinkVase · 25/03/2019 13:41

I have rewatched and I am SO ready now for series 3 🙌🏻☺️

Loopytiles · 25/03/2019 19:42

Will be watching, but hoping for less weirdness and that things are on the up for Dianne.

JessicaPeach · 25/03/2019 19:56

I've seen the first 2 episodes (us pace) and I don't think I like it anymore! I prefer the good wife type format. I find the good fight format a bit weird, too fast paced but a bit pointless and lots of weird interludes! I obvs won't post any spoilers but I'll keep watching this thread as looking forward to hearing what you all think!

Thx for the heads up Smile

Broadcast night bump!

RosaWaiting · 29/03/2019 10:33

really enjoyed it

should have rewatched Season 2 as had forgotten about a couple of cases.

Topical as ever. Christine Baranski is doing an amazing job as ever. However, I always struggled to believe she would want to be with Kurt and that just continues.

I wonder if it's because she lost Will and Alicia, perhaps with friends on board she wouldn't be doing this.

lachenalia · 29/03/2019 14:00

Watched the first episode of new series and I'm bored already . Too obsessed with Trump conspiracies , too obsessed with every passing fashionable liberal cause and worst of all has Christine Baranski been ironed or has she had a bit (lot) of work done ? On the upside the name Cush Jumbo always makes me smile .

'I always struggled to believe she would want to be with Kurt and that just continues.'

Me too, but I kind of see it as her naughty side!

I found last night a bit weird. Why was the rapist's daughter getting involved in the cases, and asking one of the women whether her dad mentioned her mum or not! Just weird.

southeastdweller · 31/03/2019 10:09

I wasn't keen on the obvious feel to the first episode. More Trump bashing and another nod to the Me Too movement. It just feels so lazy. Hopefully things will perk up a bit when Michael Sheen joins the series next week.

Italiangreyhound · 31/03/2019 13:55

What is up with Mia?

CurbsideProphet · 31/03/2019 22:28

I really like The Good Fight, so I'm just scrolling past the posters who are watching at US pace and think it's rubbish! I quite like that it feels different to other progs. It's very current and of the time, as opposed to other series that have no mention of real life, for example Ally McBeal.

Loopytiles · 31/03/2019 23:11

Loved the magenta trouser suit!

StarlingsEverywhere · 01/04/2019 12:03

I just watched the first episode of season 3 and I loved it! Really enjoyed it. I'm rewatching seasons 1 & 2 on Amazon Prime now.

RosaWaiting · 01/04/2019 22:48

I need some reminders from season 2

I do understand why Liz got personally involved, she probably feels guilty because it was her father. of course it's not something she should feel guilty about, but I'm sure a lot of us would have that irrational guilt.

I hope we are not going to see a lot of Luca's baby's grandmother, she bugs me. Marissa on top form as ever.

RosaWaiting · 01/04/2019 22:51

Just asked MNHQ to put UK pace in the thread

already had to hide the Fleabag thread because some posters saw tonight's this afternoon, so easier to just hide it! hopefully same won't happen here.

Michael Sheen Grin

HalleLouja · 06/04/2019 08:41

Michael Sheen was totally nuts. I had forgotten that Michael J Fox used to be in the Good Wife. He was so devious.

Brienneoftarthiloveyou · 06/04/2019 10:59

Michael Sheen put me right off - just totally over the top & unnecessary. Loved Michael J Fox's character & also Elspeth's so I like the quirky characters but he's not a quirky character at all, just over the top ridiculous acting.

RosaWaiting · 07/04/2019 11:05

Michael Sheen put me off as well, I really hope he's not going to be a regular, but I fear he is.

I hated the Lewis Canning character and Sheen's character just felt like
an even more annoying version of him.

I also liked Elspeth, I've no objection to a quirky character but this Sheen thing - just no. I understand the boundary testing thing and the awkward situations but it could be done without the character being so hard to watch.

southeastdweller · 07/04/2019 11:31

Michael Sheen is one of our best actors but I agree he's all kinds of wrong for this show.

Does anyone else think Gary Cole who plays Kurt is really hot? I've fancied him since the 90s from when he was in the Brady Bunch films.

RosaWaiting · 07/04/2019 11:34

south no, but he was so good in Office Space!

Brienneoftarthiloveyou · 07/04/2019 11:40

@southeastdweller I've fancied him since Midnight Caller Grin
