New series starts today.

I have loved this series, I was crying at the end.

On a fashion note, I have loved all the outfits, so elegant.

Yes the costumes were divine.

My DVDs of Series Six have just arrived - five days early!!

I watched series 5 when it was on last year (I believe) but didn't get as into it as I did with series 6 the past few weeks. Bought series 1-4 on amazon prime and have been binge-watching ever since! Love the fashion and all those handsome men...at a time in history when men looked like real men lol 😂 Sad there will be no more.

I've been purposely not watching on BBC1 this last couple of weeks so that I can enjoy my Series Six DVDs that arrived six days earlier than Amazon promised they would!

I can't read the thread because I've just discovered this and I'm on episode 5 of season 1. It's absolutely stunning quality drama. I love Aussie TV and wish we had more.
My only problem is that I have downloaded seasons 1 and 2 from Drama channel and S5 and 6 from iPlayer but 3 and 4 are missing. 5 and 6 will expire soon.
I can't binge watch as I need to savour it.
I need to find seasons 3 and 4 from some dodgy website somehow.

I am a big fan. I couldn't understand why it was tucked away on daytime television.
I think they did the right thing by bringing it to a conclusion though. Much better to quit while they were ahead.

I'm part way through season 1. I just love it. The costumes, the music is so reminiscent of my mother's youth, she was 19 in 1953.
The characters are complex and the whole thing is just fabulous. I was ready for Elizabeth to be unredeemable and yet she has such a selfless kind side. And Gino

Just watched the first 2 episodes of series 1 on Drama. Olivia especially looks so young (and James was in Outlander! )

Elizabeth is awful. A nasty, snobby bitch. So does Douglas mellow her or is it just age?
