I've now caught up with last week's. I'm watching them more out of compulsion than anything else because I loved the first series so much. Sarah is now really annoying instead of the passionate fighter she was in the early seasons. I used to love the friction between her and Elizabeth. I thought this season got off to a slow and extremely contrived start but it's perked up a bit now that Olivia has come to life.

I have missed season 5 also, I sat and watched all of season 4 whilst ill one weekend and felt a bit lost when I'd finished.
Now I have 2 lovely seasons to catch up on yay!

I've just ordered Series 6 on DVD from Amazon.

I haven't been able to watch the current showings every day on BBC1, so I am looking forward to a binge watch when my DVDs arrive.

Gosh, wasn't Regina a tragic soul? Was she actually mentally ill, do we think? Or just consumed with love for George Bligh?

And isn't Noni Hazlehurst magnificent! A matriarch to her fingertips!

No spoilers please! My DVDs won't arrive until the 2nd of March! But I hope Henry has a Happy Ever After ending Smile

I love this programme, with all the strong female characters. My favourite is the magnificent Elizabeth!

Jack is gorgeous but so is the lovely Harry Polson.
