Hellllloooooo! Anyone there?

OP posts:
hOggswartsExpress · 16/07/2007 21:06

Thanks Lyra.

Ooh it's 8 mins long.......lets see how I get on......starting........now

hOggswartsExpress · 16/07/2007 21:28

Have got 43 secs up to now ...... what do we think of the narrator???? .............have only heard her sing "and" a few times but she's not a patch on Linzi Whatsit on the JD cd.....

LoonyLyraLovegood · 16/07/2007 21:38

I haven't seen the JD video because I'm not a traitor to his Leeness

Keep going, it's worth it to see the sweat drip down that finely muscled bare, smooth chest.....

binkleandflip · 16/07/2007 21:39

She was really good I thought - and not hogging the stage too much and getting in the way

binkleandflip · 16/07/2007 21:42

Berrie I really hope that something comes up and you get to go at some point

binkleandflip · 16/07/2007 21:43

What date in August are you going Oggs?

LoonyLyraLovegood · 16/07/2007 21:44

So, will you all be hanging around the stage door like some lovesick stalker? I know I'll want to but I'm going with DP and he might not be too keen. But we're going on my birthday so surely what I say goes, no?

binkleandflip · 16/07/2007 21:48

The number for the stage door telephone is on the programme - you could phone ahead and arrange to bump into him on his way in, whilst your dh gets you a drink in thus avoiding him having to witness his dw openly and shamelessly lusting after another..

hOggswartsExpress · 16/07/2007 21:53

Lyra the JD Joseph is an audio CD. God, do you think I'd be able to stomach actually watching him .
As it is I tend to fast forward through the songs when he's singing on his own .

Binkle I'm going on 7th August, and can't wait. I'm feeling a bit better now that you've said it's a small theatre. Maybe I won't have to tape the binoculars on for the whole show after all.
Though they will come in useful for zooming in on that gorgeous bod and any sweat trickling down it....

LoonyLyraLovegood · 16/07/2007 21:57

Someone on the Other Forum said she had a great view from the back of the Upper Circle (£15 tickets) so you should be fine, Oggs. I'm Upper Circle too and have been reassured by this.

binkleandflip · 16/07/2007 22:00

So only 21 days to go Oggs!!!!

You lucky, lucky woman!!

I feel quite fed-up about being home today - such a fab weekend and it's all been and gone.. I was most annoyed to have to make myself a boring cheese sandwich in my boring house today - I wanted to be being all cosmopolitan in London again, lunching on tapas and martini's followed by an evening with Lee et al.

Real everday life can be very naff at times...and of course, got the resulting credit card bill of trying to appear posh and affluent to contend with in two weeks (eek)

hOggswartsExpress · 16/07/2007 22:08

Aaaarrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhh Bum. Bugger. and Bollocks.

Bloody computer connection's just failed. I'd only got up to 2 mins 12 secs..... Zoe was just starting to speak.......

I'll have another go tomorrow. Gah!

LoonyLyraLovegood · 16/07/2007 22:10

Oh no, what a pain in the bum

LoonyLyraLovegood · 16/07/2007 22:14

Just put Jesus Christ Superstar on the video. ALW is a fantastic composer.

hOggswartsExpress · 16/07/2007 22:16

Utter arse.

Very fed up with stupid pooter

Actually it's bloody BT and the crappy line that's to blame not the pooter.

Ooh, 21 days is that all? Don't think I'll be able to lose Mum, Dad and dd in order to ambush Lee at Stage Door

OggswartsExpress · 17/07/2007 10:38

Nothing if not determind, I'm having another go at watching the Youtube clip. (at 29 secs currently)

Scary presenters - makes me glad I don't have tv

LoonyLyraLovegood · 17/07/2007 10:49

Good luck! Hope it works this time.

Berrie · 17/07/2007 11:33

Poor Oggs
Poor Lyra, hope you put slugs in showbiz editors drawer next Saturday!

BoingBoing · 17/07/2007 12:42

I don't have tickets yet. I've been dropping not-so-subtle hints to DH, but he's just not getting it. I think I'm gonna nick his cc and do it myself.

Now [takes very deep breath], I'm going to wade through Binkle's Sunday postings. Wish me luck. I may be some time.....

OggswartsExpress · 17/07/2007 12:58

Could you not go with a friend Boing?

I managed to get about 5 mins worth this time .
The connectiion didn't fail so I don't know what went wrong , but I've seen the sweat!
Totally understand Berrie's comment about licking it off , he knows how to wear a loincloth doesn't he?

What did I miss after Close Every Door???

BoingBoing · 17/07/2007 13:04

Crikey! 15 minutes that took. Phew! A bit concerned about the white socks, I have to say, but the image of sweating torsos and loincloths is helping

And thanks Oggs, but of course I'm not going with my bloody DH! I'm definitely going with a friend so we can discuss the finer points surrounding the etiquette of torso sweat-licking!!! It's just I rather need his credit card to pay for it....

LoonyLyraLovegood · 17/07/2007 13:21

You're gonna have to get a move on Boing, tickets are selling out fast.
Oggs, glad you got to see the torso . After that there was more chat with Zoe, whch is only mildly interesting, but they have Lee playing in the background so you get to see a bit more of him prancing about on stage.

BoingBoing · 17/07/2007 13:34
slayerette · 17/07/2007 13:47

Thank you so much, Lyra

Very fetching outfits overall and - though loincloth v good - I did love the twirly coat! Am so looking forward to going! Although will be lovely to see his Leeness, must admit I'm looking forward to watching ds watch it, iyswim. Hope he doesn't shout out to characters on stage like he did during The Snowman though Oh well, he will be a year and a half older...

I can just imagine: 'Benjamin! That naughty Joseph's hidden a cup in your sack!'
Or: 'Mummy - what does that lady want to DO with Joseph! And what's free love?'

BoingBoing · 17/07/2007 14:03

I've just had a quick look and there are still very good seats available on my birthday - a Wednesday in March. So, once I check it's not half term, donned my balaclava and gloves, do I go for Dress Circle or Stalls? Obviously, as DH's plastic is paying, I'll be going for Binkle's 'Adam Option'.
