Hellllloooooo! Anyone there?

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 10/07/2007 09:49

D'oh Albus.. Fancy not remembering.... Did you not get photo's of the momentous occasion???

Berrie... frankly my dear, that is a snippet in the singular......

Ooooh, Binkle

Dd made a birthday card yesterday for Lee, and we are going to post it today along with a request for a signed photo.
Dilemma is, do I pretend that I have two daughters in order to get a photo signed with my name on it????

binkleandflip · 10/07/2007 09:52

Of course you do Oggs, that's obvious!!

BoingBoing · 10/07/2007 11:56

Ooops, have I mortally upset & offended Berrie?

Oggs, you're forgetting, you have AT LEAST another 4 daughters called, oddly enough, Boing, Berrie, Lyra and Binkle!

Albus isn't allowed a picture as she's already snogged Lee - I'm not buying that 'I forgot' mwa mwa cheek kissing for one second. Oh no!

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 10/07/2007 11:56

No photos no. I was slightly the worse for wear!

BoingBoing · 10/07/2007 12:02

A-ha! Now we get to the bottom of your selective memory - you were hammered. Excellent. Does that mean you behaved inappropriately? I do hope so! Hence the lack of photos I'm guessing - too incriminating perhaps?

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 10/07/2007 12:57

Well DP works for a wine company so seemed rude not to! And yes he was very embarassed by my behaviour. In my defence it was v. late by this point and we'd been drinking since 2pm.

BoingBoing · 10/07/2007 13:29

Fantastic! Much kudos to AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun. I haven't done that in years. Ah those were the days....[thinks back fondly in wibbly screen daydream]

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 10/07/2007 15:08

You think I'd have grown up by age 37 wouldn't you?

Berrie · 10/07/2007 16:02

Berrie has her own wibbly screen moment only it involves lying in a gutter...

BoingBoing...you won't need to blackball me, what with you casting aspertions on my character and Slayerette making out I was enormous the other day...I'm off...
until the next time

Sorry Oggs, it was rather feeble I admit.

BoingBoing · 10/07/2007 19:31

I can say, hand on heart, that I've never laid in a gutter - drunk or sober. [smug grin]

And I'm sure aspersions were never cast upon the character of Berrie, I'd never be so rude [giggles nervously]

AlbusPercivalWulfricBrianSun · 10/07/2007 20:57

No me either although DP has! Seriously in San Francisco on a visit to the winery about 10 years ago.

Berrie · 10/07/2007 22:03

Oh but you had to go and correct my spelling !

...and make me feel bad for ever having been in the gutter!

binkleandflip · 10/07/2007 22:50

Never laid in a gutter but I have wee-d on a doorstep.

Berrie · 11/07/2007 07:26
Grin

Panic setting in...interview tomorrow, think I'll have to wear the bacon frazzle shirt that dh says I look like a pig in as it's faintly pinkish and he thinks everyone looks like a pig in pink...or that's his excuse for unforgivable comment.
Still have to do some prep, I can't seem to get my head in the right place with the children around, I'm too tired in the evening and I'm having to visit FIL in hospital as dh ill and has germs. Friend was coming to mind children this afternoon so that I could prepare but I think I'm going to cancel her as I'll waste more time tidying up and shopping for something for lunch.
Right, wittering over for now, off to make a pirate outfit for playschool end of term party.

oggsfrogwarts · 11/07/2007 08:53

Won't be on much today. Can't you tell the summer hols have started?

Just wanted to say Good Luck to Berrie for tomorrow incase I don't see you before then, and try to Chill Aaaarrrttt (á la Lewis), I'm sure you'll do wonderfully.

Berrie · 11/07/2007 09:03

Thanks oggs!

Berrie does some deep breathing whilst fiddling with an eye patch...

expeLYRAmus · 11/07/2007 09:38

Good luck Berrie, things sounds way too busy in your house.
Do you Like my new Harry Potter name btw? I seem to be namechanging rather a lot at the moment.

BoingBoing · 11/07/2007 10:23

Oh good luck Berrie. And I bet you look great in the 'frazzle froc'k - men are just gits when it comes to style and have no idea.

And yes, I vaguely remember peeing on a doorstep. Ruined a perfectly good pair of shoes that night!

Have just interviewed a P-T CM and horrified her by saying DH has never changed a nappy in his life and has no intention of doing so. I swear her jaw hit the floor, as I'll bet most of yours are too hehehe. (my excuse for letting him get away with this is that I've no intention of EVER mucking out livestock. A fair deal I think!)

Berrie · 11/07/2007 12:39

Thanks all

No I prefer Lyra, Lyra, my brain hurts too much to try and work out who you are

Boing, yes probably a good deal though it's not quite the same should DH say,'can you go and muck out the cattle shed while I dish up lunch?' Could he actually do it if you were to go out for a day like I did last weekend?

BoingBoing · 11/07/2007 12:55

Hehehe, I haven't yet, but just to see the look of pure fear on his face when I do tell him I'm going out is always entertaining....

Lyra, I think you're suffering from some deep-seated personality disorder and need to seek professional help

And finally, a nice interview with the man himself in today's Telegraph. Lovely Lee!

Berrie · 11/07/2007 13:01

Sigh Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks Boing

expeLYRAmus · 11/07/2007 14:50

It's just a temporry name in honour of the last HP book coming out next week. Loads of MNers are namechanging for the occasion. Califrau came up with this one for me.

expeLYRAmus · 11/07/2007 14:51

That should read temporary.

binkleandflip · 11/07/2007 14:54

Have just been called by the really useful hospitality team to confirm my canapes etc....

Apparently we get met at the door by a special guide type who takes us to our seats and gets us a drink too. Blimey!

Not too dear either really (seeing as its a special occasion) have you been sent details as well? (I booked with SEE tickets)
