I did think to myself that the older royals, Charles, Andrew Edward and the Queen etc are embarassingly absent. The rest of the world wont' know who eEuginie and Beatrice are perhaps and it will look like the whole family has snubbed the princes.

I think it's right that none of the other royals are there - this is the Prince's party for their mum. there was no love lost between Diana and Charles and the rest of the old lot at the end was there ?

No don't agree about the Royals not being there being embarassing - Diana and Charles were divorced. It wouldn't be appropriate. Don't think W and H would want them there anyway. Diana's brother and sisters are there.
