I'm a bit confused by some of the current living arrangements....
Who lives with Eileen?
Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

Gail has always had incredibly thick hair. Surely if she had a wig, she'd have picked a better one! Grin

RLABC · 12/03/2019 13:00

I've just caught up on last night's episodes and I'm thinking that I must have missed one previously or did Liz just casually come back last night? Surely there'd have been more made of her return after ducking out if the court date? Confused

Redshoeblueshoe · 12/03/2019 13:38

Liz just appeared in the bar.

ajandjjmum · 12/03/2019 16:53

But Jenny did give her a bottle of wine. A very quiet acknowledgement of what she'd done - I thought it was rather nice.

Clawdy · 12/03/2019 18:38

We are back to scenes of Michelle screeching and sobbing, it is so boring. Does she not know there are other ways of showing emotion?

keepondreaming · 12/03/2019 19:53

Liz was in Roy's cafe before she was in the bar. She was with Eileen when the excruciating "malty" and "salty" conversation took place!

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 12/03/2019 20:15

I'm worried about Seb. His whole life he's felt neglected and rejected by his Mum. He's lost his siblings, then his job. Now he feels rejected by Eileen. I suspect he's going to go completely off the rails which will not only be very depressing but will also undoubtedly mean some truly godawful acting since the only way he seems to convey emotion is by flaring his nostrils and putting on a whiny voice.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 12/03/2019 20:30

Gail's like Samson in reverse, the bigger the Bob gets the more strength (and personality) she loses. Maybe now she's working at the Barber's David will insist on giving her a hipster style makeover...the Bob will be shed and lo and behold, she'll become the engaging, fully rounded character she once was! Probs not though.

Redshoeblueshoe · 12/03/2019 20:34

Minister that would be great.
Keeping sorry you are right about Liz

Deadringer · 12/03/2019 21:57

Maybe David will take Seb on and train him as a junior. and cut off his awful man bun

Walney · 13/03/2019 10:25

I know we should be feeling sympathy for Michelle, but she is just so boring and self centred I really don't care. The actress is just awful and is either crying or telling other people off.

I want the actor playing Seb to get better at acting as I feel his character could be quite interesting if portrayed better (and the writers don't just turn him into another depressing character).

LHMB · 13/03/2019 10:27

I think Gail is getting dementia or something like that, she just seems different somehow

SapatSea · 13/03/2019 11:36

Gail is now a blitering idiot and treated like a pensioner. Gail and Liz are around the same age. In classic corrie at present Gail is the bouncy laughing one, newly married to Martin with baby David and a partner in the cafe and is quite formidable. LIz is quite down trodden (by Jim) and almost staid serving in t'Rovers. Who would have thought LIz would rival Bet Lynch for garish outfits and Gail would have lost her mind?

Clawdy · 13/03/2019 12:52

The silly squeaky voice Gail has adopted doesn't help. She's always had a rather high voice, but not like this one.

thenightsky · 13/03/2019 20:47

Oh please don't tell me that Michelle is going to rip Robert off financially over the Bistro! She did that to Steve after 5 mins of marriage! She's rapidly becoming very toxic.

woodhill · 13/03/2019 20:53

Yes, sick of shallow Michelle.

Isn't she a bit old to have a baby in all honesty

feltcarrot · 13/03/2019 20:56

How long was Lolly crying in the toilets for? Michelle was in the Rovers, back at the flat with a sober Robert, then back in the pub with a pissed up Robert barging in!

thenightsky · 13/03/2019 20:57

Aaaaaaand… there goes Robert's personality change. Blink and miss it.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 13/03/2019 21:04

What was that ridiculous scene in the cafe between Gail and Evelyn? That was awful.

Gail needs a sidekick again like Alma or Deirdre to revive her true personality. She has no friends.

thenightsky · 13/03/2019 21:17

And storylines that could be really deep and good such as the phone call from Zeedan saying he'd found a new girlfriend are just dropped in and then forgotten!

TattyOldbit · 13/03/2019 21:45

Lol, I remember a recent scene where "Robert's hand" sprinkled a handful of herbs on a passing plate. Presumably as a shortcut "authenticity attempt". Bless'em lol..

Deadringer · 13/03/2019 21:53

The hen party was on very early, it was in full swing and the garage was still open. And yet the bistro was closed before 6? At least I assume it was because all the staff were in the rovers, except Robert who was getting blotto in his flat.

FedUpOfBrexit · 13/03/2019 22:00

Why is nick permanently at the barbers now and neglecting the factory?
He can't cut hair so what's the point of him being there?
It's bizarre that he standing around all day in the barbers just taking money at the till which Gail could do when he could be working at the factory.

eddiemairswife · 13/03/2019 22:12

I'm another one who gets confused with the time when things are happening. They have parties in the pub at ridiculously early hours when other people are still at work, or having tea.

DaveCoachesgavemetheclap · 13/03/2019 22:26

I was wondering about Nick too, FedUpOfBrexit He's like the proverbial spare prick at a wedding.
