I'm a bit confused by some of the current living arrangements....
Who lives with Eileen?
Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

Carla would never behave like that. Are we supposed to believe that she wants Abi blamed because she is jealous, when we know Peter would come running if she clicked her fingers? Or are we supposed to believe that she doesn't want Roy to get in trouble, it was an accident so that won't happen. Rubbish!

You would also think that Peter would be more sensitive to Abi's vunerability and not be so cruel to her given his own struggles with alcohol.

Perhaps Carla thinks that Roy couldn't cope mentally atm if he knew it was him even if the fire was an accident. However, surely anyone would think what could he do next and try to get him help.

The problem recently is that all the stories seem to rely on behaviour that just isn't in the realms of anything vaguely sensible or realisitic.

As for Tyler getting a job at the bistro (with their endless potwasher jobs but only one cook).. words fail. Until recently Michelle was Amy's stepmum (on and off for many years)and Amy lived with her at the pub. Our Si was Amy's very close relative and Peter and Michelle have known each other (even intimately?) for donkeys years in soap terms so why on earth would you forget all that and hire Tyler on his mum's say so? Steve was also incredibly generous in the divorce with Michelle and his extended family make up a big art of the bistro clientele.

I know it was Robert did the hiring but he knows the score.

I've missed a few recently and multitask whilst the others are on, I'm on the verge of giving up

It was obviously Roy who set fire to boat in his sleep, like that’s not totally ridiculous, is there someone new at Corrie behind the scenes as most characters are all acting out of character!

Yes, new producers storylines started in the New Year. He came from producing Emmerdale.

Ridiculous plot lines aside, Simon, Kathy, Gary, Nicola & his wheelchair bound ex wife aren't adding any value & need culling. And Peter needs to lose the beard & be back in suits - or tshirts showing his muscley arms. Soon. In the absence of a decent plot line it's very remiss of them to have no other male my age, for me to objectify while I wait for normal service to be resumed.

Amy and Our Si aren't close relatives. Tracy is Ken Barlow's stepdaughter. She and Peter are only related by marriage

Oh, and now Tyler appears to have undergone a quickie personality transplant!

Yes he's turned into a Mr Niceguy with a heart while holding down a job. Not much of a baddie!

Gary's fudging David's repair quote, Sarah let's him.
Mary has wine for Tys lunch, a mechanic.. drinking wine.. for lunch? That'll be a few fingers missing by evening.
Sarah shoots down Gary's rip off attempt.
Carla's hammering the wine in the afternoon again, everyone in Corrie is a piss head. Carla and Michelle are almost twins, but one of em has a fringe.. can't work out which is which...
Tracey has reported Tyler to the police, Amy is not happy.. But I think it's because the cops look like Laurel and Hardy in drag.
Ty accuses Mary and she gets upset, turns out, Ty's daughter sent the valentine's card.

Police closed boat investigation but Captain Peter and his Beard of suspicion has different ideas.
Amy's absconded from Tracey custody.
Seb saw Carla stuffing Roy's old clothes in her boot.
Tyler and Amy have a chat, Tyler admits he wants nothing to do with the baby.
Peter questions Roy, beard set on full, Roy is a good actor really.
Ty runs into Mary into pub, Mary has a go at him.. says, "You invent and kill elderly relatives." Mary is a bit funny sometimes.
Amy's off to grandads cause she's sick of Tracey.
Amy's booked an abortion and isn't going to tell Steve and Tracy.

Someone moans about Tyler, someone moans about fire, Mary moans about Ty. On the plus side... Dev wasnt in tonight's 9/10 just for that.

I adored Mary tonight, doing the floss! She’s way better now that she’s not confined to boring Jude and Angie scenes.
Why is David not getting insurance quotes from builders? It’s like Gary’s the only builder in existence.

Minor niggles:

• Amy is on half term, she was around in the day and on Friday Tracey said she could have the day off and go back after half term but Ruby was at school (I know different schools could have different holidays);
• the usual issue of who was looking after Ruby and Jack while Tyrone, Kevin, Mary and Sophie were in the pub? and
• Steve exclaimed "garden scissors" when describing Tracey threatening Tyler but later said "secateurs". I was really surprised that Tracey didn't correct him in the first outburst but I may not have heard that.

I could go on - David and not getting insurance quotes annoys me too!

Anyone betting Bethany will talk Amy out of an abortion? " Ooh, I had a teenage mum, and look what an amazing life I've had!"

Christ I hope not. I want Amy to go back to being a school girl. I don't want her to turn into another Faye. Enough of the teenage pregnancies.

It's ridiculous David not getting more quotes for the work. Just to get it straight; are we talking about damage caused by the boat fire? If so, shouldn't Peter or his insurance be paying?

Surely David should notify his insurers first, and they will definitely want to see more than one quote.

Surely Carla and David would have the insurers in. Did Carla not learn from her unsafe steps that offed an Eastern European worker whose death she had to fake up (back when husband no.1 was still breathing)?
It is too ridiculous for words., even the suspension of belief you nned to have for soaps isn't cutting it.
Gary doubles a quote for family and it's okay? sure thing. Gary will be turning into Phelan, he started by exaggerating quotes and look where it ended...
