I can't actually remember, but I think it was because Hayley worked for Carla and they become close after surviving a hostage situation. Hayley married Roy and Carla became close to Roy... Something like that..

Yes Adam is so underused, the scriptwriters could do so much with him, for example they could expand the law firm, make it quite swish, Sally’s barrister becomes a partner in the firm he could the have a passionate affair with an older woman and of course she would have to get pregnant (not sure how old Paula is or perhaps Carla would be a better fit and drive Peter mad with jealousy) We could see an older woman younger man dynamic and how that relationship pans out over time, you know a proper storyline that develops over the months. Adam needs to be the next Mike Baldwin, fancy flat, successful business man like his Dad, I’m fed up with someone like him shacked up in a grotty flat with Sinead and Daniel and he needs a far more sophisticated girlfriend than Sarah! Oh and a fancy jag of course! I think I have to much time on my hands......

Carla also needs some storylines. It’s getting difficult to remember her at her strongest and it’s boring seeing her living with Roy.

Tyler as the dad is the cue for his gobby mum coming into it maybe. She was good in the factory.

I like Carla living with Roy. I like that they look after each other but I agree Carla needs to get her Mojo back. I think she could still do that while living with Roy though. I do love her.

Agree Adam is wasted. He’s so beautiful. Just put him in every scene. He doesn’t even have to say anything. Just grin. I’ll melt
