A quiet corner of MN for serious addicts of Kdrama, or the Kdrama-curious. Most of our viewing is drawn from Netflix and Viki, but the more seriously addicted have other sources, including dramabus. For the record, I’m Team Jung Hae In for the win on this one. I know it’ll be LJS but I don’t care. I have a soft spot for JHI because Something in the Rain was my first kdrama, my first love if you will.

I think I may follow you two for a quick gallop through WYWSleeping to refresh my LYS notes before starting his new drama on the 26th

I have to say that LJS looks less boyish, wispy and more adult male in While You Were Sleeping. He reminded me too much of my son and all his gangly young teen friends in W. It suits him to be filling out a bit.

A question: in ep 4 there has been mention of FL’s (Suzy) great beauty. She seems kind of plain to me in this role. I don’t get it. I know we talked about beauty standards a bit before and Seadays and IAm gave some context, but what is it that makes Suzy a great beauty?

I expect as it moves on she'll become more amazingly pretty! 😂... She'll lose the glasses... Get a better haircut... And a bit if make up will make an appearance.... And some more "stylish" clothes!...

It is slightly odd to see him being the older brother as he's always the more boyish... But I know what you mean... He still makes me go... 😍😍😍😍😍... I'm soooo shallow.! 😭😂😂😂

I din’t mean filled out like fat. I mean filled out like muscle on the frame. DS1 has had a massive growth spurt in the last 6 months and now has broad shoulders and chest, but his clothes hang off him like a suit rack because he’s still so skinny and gangly.

This was the first Toasty LYS drama I watched, so I guess it’s the version of him in my mind when I go back & watch the earlier ones eg i Hear Your Voice

I'm gutted I'm getting to the end of the Toasty spiral!... New one coming out soon but will that be on viki pretty quick.?... And I want to watch all at once so will watch when whole lot up... And there's Hymn of a death... 😭... Too sad for me... Bettys have you given it a go yet?... And then he's off to the army!... LJS!... 😭😭😭😭

Just enjoyed the scene at the drinks machine with the kickass female judge challenging corrupt lawyer’s whinging about the fairness of an all female panel of judges. 👊👏

I've just started ep 2 of Hymn of Death and it has half the cast of WYWSleeping in. It's as if LJS said 'Hey, I'm doing this thing after, d'you want to be in it?'

So far so good, but can feel impending doom. It has the Carpe Diem club in it from Chicago Typewriter so I'm wondering if that was a real place.

I am trying to work out what is different with LYS's nose, it's more normal looking somehow (shallow)

I think that toast scene only works if you’ve had the build up beforehand.

Is the cat killer in WYWS not the VC’s sidekick in Sec Kim? As you all say, a small pool of frequently used actors.

It is, he is also the annoying chef in Oh My Ghost & a SAHM dad in My Secret Terius

Just finished watching You're All Surrounded and now on episode 2 of The Guardian (or Guardians, depending where you see it).
