What will be the stories

Has to be phil finding out about SHAZZY and keanu

Will be do the same as dirty den to Angie all those years ago

Same as grant did and play a recording when he found out she was sleeping with phil

STU. Will he confess on Xmas day and the silly story finally be laid to rest

Assume Kim will pop and drop soon

I still think bobby new head will return. It's been 2.5yrs and he got 3 and could be out early for good behaviour

If not then June 2019

Baby abi is still an orphan. Surely they will decide soon who can be ma and pa

Will MEL tell ray or led him done the aisle to dump him

I watched it again - well the mast bit anyway.

They hear Cherry crying and Kat tells Hayley she's fine.

They hear front door and Stacey goes to check leaving Kat and Hayley in the kitchen. She looks into lounge on way back through and Jean is there. The car is there at that point.

Then Jean comes through with the 3 black bags of rubbish and the sirens are heard followed by blue lights.

Jean goes outside with bags and Kat shits the door on her.

Jean comes back in looking shocked and upset. Did she see something? Does she know Alfie has done a runner? Did she help?! Was it relied on her face because he's got away safely before police arrived?

Car was gone when Kat looked outside and the dry patch was there.

Jean remained in kitchen.

Interesting idea that Hayley is in on it!

I'm not sure Pink Hayley seemed genuinely upset and panicky, it was all a bit strange like they were in a play but I really enjoyed it once I stopped shouting at the telly 'Call a bloody ambulance!!'
Ian's knives were mentioned quite a bit, and there was a shot of his knife pack being opened in Christmas Day episode I think, hope there's not going to be another stabbing.

Rubbish? Baby stuff? I'm beginning to think you're all right and that Jean would just do anything to get rid of him, his gaudy shirts, ringtone and pained, highly limited range of facial expressions. Whatever it takes

Another spin, maybe kat is in on it, she’s going to join alfie and cherry later on? That’s why she didn’t want to call an ambulance because she knew he was alive.
But then again falling down the stairs is pretty risky!

Or maybe Stacey's the assistant? She certainly delayed the calling of help by continuously dragging it out until they 'got their stories straight'. Then when they did she wasn't sure she could lie!

Wonder if we'll get a flashback/playback episode where what actually happened is shown?

Eg what else did Kat and Alfie discuss when alone in the lounge? Or did Jean and Alfie have a conversation?

I think they would have been in trouble for moving the 'body' and what about the pool of blood in the hall? Surely one of them would have checked for a pulse. Total bilge.

Hmm, good theories here plus we kept hearing Kat say to Hayley ' Cherry is fine' and not letting her go up to her. Why?
It could be that Bev is involved too? Although she wanted to sell her on in Margate so maybe not!

Jean had been upstairs as she remarked on the kids bedrooms being dirty so she may have packed the baby things instead?
Stacey was acting oddly. She delayed everything at first and was keen to get Ian out the house.
It's all very strange.

Don’t think Hayley is in on it because I really did believe the scenes where Alfie said he doesn’t love her and doesn’t want a future with her. And I do believe Alfie and Kat are in love. (Over invested, moi? )

But it seemed glaringly obvious jean was involved, all the manic dashing about trying to deflect the others from the situation. Even without her pills jean isn’t that crazy! Not sure about Stacey yet... possibly she’s in on it too. They made quite a big deal of Stacey and jean really ‘getting’ each other and Stacey being the one constant good thing in jeans life which could have paved the way for this. And all that tosh with Ian I assume was part of the plot

I'd love to see Ian's face when ( or if) jean tells him she was lying and she doesn't like him much at all! Just using you Ian to cook Christmas dinner for 15 people. Mind you , jean isn't that nasty normally so not sure why she would do that.

I don't know now. Alfie wouldn't be able to care properly for his daughter. I don't think even he would want to sell her on. Where would they go? Would he leave his twins behind ? Why hurt Hayley so much? Unless Kat is helping him. Just to teach Hayley a lesson or something? Cruel if they are.
It's all a bit confusing.

The allotments are the go to place usually.

Maybe Bernie and Patrick will see them and talk some sense into him.
Or his off to Spain with the passport he sorted out for cherry weeks ago! Is he that organised? Or Kat did it?
Maybe we will never see them again.

I actually think that Jean saw Alfie go but had no idea that he had taken Cherry. She would never have let that happen.

That would leave mess and blood and bits of brain everywhere ( well, mess in Alfie's case!)
No, I still think his gone off in the smashed up car. Not far though. You couldn't go that far really ; not unless he abandoned the car and then took a cab to the airport/ that hotel he was in once when Hayley went to see him. All needs a lot of planning.

Oh I missed the but about bedrooms being a mess. I heard her say about cake on lampshades but assumed it was the lounge!

Good point she saw him go but not take Cherry. Maybe she saw him leave when she took bins out? Maybe when Cherry was crying Jean brought her downstairs and left her in lounge? Then Alfie got up and left with her?

Kat seemed very protective of Hayley. Determined to keep her out of trouble as she believes Alfie took advantage - yet also very in love in Alfie. She's one confused chica!

However ' panto' and 'am dram' the episode was it's certainly got everyone talk v and speculating!

Job well done in the producers eyes!

Kat was nasty to jean on Xmas day. That scene went on for a while. maybe jeans had enough of everyone being horrible to her and this is her revenge? Out of character for her , but then everyone has turned on her lately so she may be feeling pushed into doing something drastic? She thinks cherry would be better off with Alfie? He told her his plans? Falling down the stairs is risky though!

Yes maybe Jean dismembered the body, sawing off Alfie’s limbs with Ian’s high end kitchen implements and distributed him among those bin bags. All without leaving any mess in the sitting room. Why not? It can’t get any crazier.

At the start of the epsiode Kat was screeching at Hayley not to touch him. She kept on screeching “dont touch him”. Maybe that’s because she knew he wasn’t dead and didn’t want Hayley to check for a pulse.

Quite possible that Kat might want to set up with Alfie, the boys and baby cherry, ditching Hayley in the process

But the whole faking death thing would be glaring plot hole of epic proportions, even more so than usual... after all there have been plenty of opportunities for Kat to disappear off with Alfie, cherry and the other kids.

Dear god, if Alfie was pretending to be dead with the planning of any of them I’ll never watch again!
You can’t fake falling down the stairs & splitting your head open without the very high risk of actual death or serious injury!

Surely most likely is Jean saw him go but not that he had the baby.

When Jean was cleaning up after the kids she was in the back room not upstairs ( back room rather surprisingly looked like it had a dining table rather than the Expected 25 sets of bunk beds)

I do like the idea of Jean using Ian’s superior kitchen gadgets to chop up & dispose of the body, all whilst keeping her jaunty tinsel crown firmly in place
