It think the whole Steve & tracy baby thing last night is to plant a seed, Amy will get knocked up (possibly with mystery 17 yo) and either cant cope or doesn't want the baby and tracy and Steve will take over and raise the baby as their own as they will then either realise they want another or will have been talking about it for a while........
Adam is super hot although with the crap stories on corrie lately if the poor chap did get anything the likelihood is we would all go off him because of the pants storyline!!

Normally I would say not every women changes their name Cat but in Corrie they all do! Except Michelle. I think Sinead has referred to herself as Osborne but she would have been already a patient at the hospital before she got married so could be still registered as Tinker and there’s also the fact that they aren’t actually married

Rana and Kate got back together a few episodes ago - they were both drinking in the pub and Kate was with her ex (Imogen?) and went off in a taxi to town. Toya’s told Rana to go after her so Rana came out of the rovers but the taxi pulled away, she then sat on the kerb crying and Kate came back and they made up.

I'm guessing the whole Tracy wanting a baby thing is for when Amy takes a pregnancy test at home where it is inevitably discovered by Steve who then gets the wrong idea (because it's soap law that you have to take test at home/ leave it bin for anyone to find/fall out of bag).
Baby might or might not be Dev's son, because he has condoms and she fancied him Steve and Tracy might go steaming over only to find out that someone else is the father (although he by soap law will have to be living on street/ know to us).

Ah yes. I wondered where the Adi/condom reference was headed. I assumed pregnancy for Amy or Summer (the only teen girls in Manchester) but this Steve/Tracy baby stuff points to Amy. I'm thinking Steve finds a used test, asks a bewildered Tracy if she's pregnant - the usual soap narrative.

Hope I'm wrong. The underage sex thing has been done often on CS and has lost its impact since Sarah'spregnancy.

God I hope it's not Summer that's pregnant by Adi, she has been looking very sad lately. isn't she always she might do a pregnancy test at Amy's house and leave it in Amy's bin. I know an accidental pregnancy can happen to anyone but Amy seems way too savvy to me for that scenario.

So how do we think this is going to pan out.
Steve finds test does a lot of open mouth panicky acting. Goeas and talks to Dev, Tim, Eileen, anybody that isn't Tracy about it.
Realizes that actually he is very happy about having a baby.
Organizes big gesture to show Tracy that he know and is very happy. Probably party in Rovers complete with Baby Balloons.
Tracy walks in and tells him "but I'm not pregnant".
Camera pans to shifty looking Amy.

Thats how I view Amy, it could happen but it just feels very out of character for her, just another teenage pregnancy for the sake of it.

I found it odd when Nick said he was fed up of being Mr Nice Guy, I don't think he has ever been nice. I really hope David just tells everyone anyway.

I would happily never see another teen pregnancy storyline on a soap every again. It’s been done from every angle. It’s a very lazy cop out whenever they can’t think of anything else to write.
