I hope Mary stays. Her and Norris are great together. Tyrone's Gran is very sharp but I like her. You could imagine her and Blanche would have been a hoot together.

There are just too many characters in it. If you watch the classic Corrie there’s only about 30 characters whereas there’s about 80 in the current cast. So even with a million episodes a week they can’t keep up!

Where is Bethany? Or Craig. Haven’t seen either of them for ages.

Even Sally and co haven’t been in it the last few episodes, after loads about them. Free the Weatherfield one (the second Weatherfield one)

Sineads going to pop up next when she almost dies giving birth or something. They need to show her more.

I'd love to see Mary and Angie disappear. Can't stand the bonkers eccentric they have turned her character into. That caterwauling singing at Christmas was the final straw. I feel sorry for the actress being given such ridiculous lines.

I thought Sinead was supposed to be on some form of ‘weak’ chemo because of the baby? That’s what the consultant said when she started it originally. Only certain types makes your hair fall out.

Mary is a bit lost without Norris, I wouldn’t be sorry to see her have an extended break.

Yeah, I like Mary when she’s adding a bit of colour - with snarky Tracy in the flower shop, telling mad stories in the Rovers, flirting with Adam. It’s a bit boring when she has these full on Jude stories and then making her into a one-trick pony with bad singing.

I wouldn’t be sorry to see Angie go. She was so miserable to start with and they messed up her pnd story by racing through it and forgetting about it immediately. I’ve just not warmed to her. Think she was miscast and would’ve been better as a femme fatale type for Nick or a new Carla with a flash car and ambition to take over the factory or something.

Paul looks like he's been whacked across the face with a shovel. Is he supposed to be some sort of sex god? Billy and Izzy both look way too old for him. Gemma looks a lot older than him too.

The whole background storyline of Mary's was so poignant and explained so much about her - the pregnancy and the baby. The search for him meant that she had a family, and I'm cross that he was turned into a deceitful, greedy and unpleasant man.
Paul is not attractive, I don't know why Izzy or anyone else thinks he's hot! I'm wondering if his sexuality is fluid. Corrie may try to show a non binary person!

Yes but they showed Sinead’s had started falling out! So obviously that’s the way they were going with that story. Except then they just....stopped. There’s been no continuation. No visit to the consultant to see if this is to be expected or whether there is anything they can do to prevent it. Her very serious storyline has just been completely ignored for weeks now.

I was in two minds whether to watch Fridays episodes, I've reached the point where I don't think I'll carry on watching.

But I decided to watch them this afternoon on catch up.

Pauls got a face like a slapped arse and his acting is barely drama school level.
Imran risking his job instead of just dropping Duncan as a client.
Emma is far too good for drippy Chesney.
No follow up on Sinead hairloss.
No continuation of Audrey's loss

Just two empty and very dull episodes for a Friday and im wondering why I bothered really.

Why was Issy so keen on him? It’s the most I’ve heard her talk in ages!

I swear the writers expect us to believe there's only one prison in the country and it happens to be in Weatherfield. New bloke just happens to end up sharing a cell with a bloke who lives on the same street as his sister. Sally and Abby end up as cellmates too. Peter bumped into Jim McDonald when he was inside for all of five minutes. Ridiculous.

I used to love Christmas time and the exciting festive period soap cliff hangers and dramas...what has happened ? This years were particularly rubbish. (I watch Emmerdale and Corrie)
Where do I know Paul from? Footballer's wives? I don't get the current story line where everyone is fawning over him...no offense to the actor but he isn't super attractive or a total heart throb...I would get it if he was supposed to be a suave, young , good looking character like Imran or Adam..why has he turned so many heads , its very odd. Also I'm no Chesney fan..but what are all the comments in the script recently having a pop at him for being girly or basically a 'Jessie' ..surely that's not very PC these days.

It's as if they had to scratch around for a storyline for Izzy. She hasn't had a proper role for years, she must have been forgotten about.

Can somebody please fill in the gap for me? I saw Audrey find Lewis on the floor (and completely ignore his suitcase and passport on the bed).I missed at least one episode. Then Audrey is penniless again and staying at Gail's house (in an upstairs bedroom, I thought Gail had the downstairs extension?)

So what happened between? I guess Lewis took her money but how, and how did she find out?

BTW Fizz - there are special behavioural schools in Manchester, you didn't need to go to Birmingham. Mind you, it takes months if not years to get a referral here in Mcr, perhaps B'ham LEA work a bit more quickly!!

Audrey found out that her account has been emptied. She suspects Lewis, although the police showed her images of the person using the cashpoint, and it was a young woman.

Has Lewis died? I seem to have missed an episode.
