Finished season 3 last night and am now bereft - TLK is one of the best programmes I’ve ever seen, I can’t believe the BBC didn’t recommission it and am keeping everything crossed that Netflix keeps it going

So glad to have found this thread. Absolutely adore TLK, been watching it since it was first aired on BBC in 2015

This era is one of my favourites in history, utterly obsessed by it

Thyra though! She's my favourite character, to say I was devastated would be an understatement, what will Beocca do now

Theirs was the sweetest love story ever, even better than Helga and Floki

I watched Season 3 in one go, and I may have watched it again and again and again since then

Got the first two seasons on DVD too, I have watched them both more than a few times

Never before has any tv series gripped me like this, it is life itself

I also have Jeppe Beck Laursen and Magnus Bruun as facebook friends, the cast are amazing and really interact with the fans

Eliza Butterworth is a real sweetheart too, such a beautiful, warm and lovely person

I think is my favourite ever tv series too. Plan to re-watch over the hols.

Watched the last episode last night. This has definitely been the best series. The interaction between the characters has been brilliant and really moving in a lot of ways. If it is to be the last series then it was a very good ending.

I wasn't sure I'd find him so handsome in Season 3, as I love long dark hair on a man

Finally finished watching, and loved it! I did miss weekly episodes though, with discussion afterwards and The Guardian re-caps. I really hope they make Season 4!

ISTR that he made a breif apperanbce in the latest series around episode 2 or was Uthread dreaming??.

I hope Leofric's ghost will continue to make appearances in future series! He was obviously far too popular a character to lose.

LOL! thats the word1 I wonder if they can graft into the script that they though he died in Battle but some nuns took him in and nursed him back to health and in doing so he lost his memory or somesuch?.

One of the characters I'd like to see back if it is possible which it 'err could be :)

This podcast was recommended and I'm really enjoying it. I started from Ep 169 The Rise of Wessex. It has a lot more details, especially about the succession agreements which makes Aethelwold's resentment at his "lost" crown a lot more understandable. He mentions TLK sometimes!
