Does anyone remember Kristina and Jason's tango? An example of a strange music choice, propwork and a non-tango break in front of the judges desk but goodness did they pull it off. I can't believe the amount of content and technique:

I think out of the current crop of pros only Katya would be able to choreograph, teach and execute that.

Unpopular opinion I actually miss Bruce. Possibly because Tess is so bad. We need a presenter with some gravitas!

I was just looking up famous celebrity birthdays in preparation for the quiz tonight and it's Faye and Luba's birthday. How coincidental that they are both also partners with Gio.

It does need a good rethink and not just some tweaks .... I think the show has lost its way - dance show? entertainment show?

Why so many celebs with such different starting points and the sadness is that the only sparks have been away from the dance floor ...

I also think that the black contestants do get a hard time ...

fleas have a lovely time enjoy the sun, I have dgd Saturday night so doubt I will get a chance to watch.

I sat next to Tess for the main show and Claudia for results. Both lovely but Tess a bit more nervous and very focused. She did chat a tiny bit and told me which dances to look out for because she thought they were good. She also told me who her favourite celeb was.
Claudia was so funny and sweet I was properly star struck! She got us some sweets.
We went in to our seats by 4pm so it was a long day.
We saw the producers find out the results because of where we were sitting and the couples in the dance off had already warmed up but they had low scores so no surprise.
They spent a lot of time whipping the crowd up and it was a very exciting atmosphere. We had to practice when to cheer & boo and were given signals. If you don’t do it enough they ask you to leave. Lots of the results show took several takes.

You will have unfettered control of the TV remote, won't have to cook any meals for anyone, can shut the curtains so the neighbours don't even know you haven't left, and can have a couple of weeks eating ice cream and drinking prosecco and watching shite on TV.

DJJ seems to have gone off in a right huff. He didn't appear on ITT and he apparently won't be involved with the final show. I have always felt there was some deep repressed rage within him that could come lashing out at any moment. Possibly i was right?

Incidentally, I am an idiot: the thread title has been bugging me for days, couldn't work out why a Mud song had been used (plus I've had that song stuck in my head for days as a result).

I've loved watching those pro dances from previous series. The current pro dances all seem quite "West End" in comparison.

The time we went to Elestree Tess said her favourite way Jay and that he was a genuine person. His jive was breathtaking on the night.

Our other time was at Wembley so very different- more relaxed, more breaks and the atmosphere was more natural but obviously not as special as Elstree.

I don’t think they would actually kick you out for not booing but it was very stage managed and lots of warnings!

They were both brilliant days and special memories with my Mom.
