OK MrsWho,here's a conundrum...

Capt Jack took the name Capt Jack in WW2. However, he ended up in the 1800s when his time thingy malfunctioned after Rose resurrected him when his name was Capt Jack. So when he took the name you would assume it was when he was travelling to the present following his resurrection but he was already called Cap Jack then so who was the other-named "Capt Jack" who took the name in WW2 and where did he come from?? Follow me?

oggsfrog · 23/06/2007 15:19

oggsfrog · 23/06/2007 15:21

SoupDragon · 23/06/2007 15:28

[snigger]

Housemum · 23/06/2007 15:56

Ooh - don't confuse my brain with details - I just like the pictures! Haven't watched last week's Dr Who yet as am going to watch the 2 together tonight. Mmmmm - John Barrowman, David Tennant and John Simm - Christmas has come early!! (Get's cloth to wipe drool off the TV screen later..)

Fubsy · 23/06/2007 20:20

Oggsfrog - shall I wait and put all 3 episodes on? can you wait that long?

Soupy - hope you can unravel your video!

oggsfrog · 23/06/2007 20:38

Oh would you? Thanks so much

I usually have to wait anyway when my Mum does them for me, she waits till she's filled a few tapes and then posts them to me.

lemonaid · 23/06/2007 21:01

As I see it, Jack's personal timeline goes

[born]
[grows up]
[shags around a lot]
[joins Time Corps]
[shags around a lot]
[deserts from Time Corps]
[probably shags around a lot]
[pitches up in WWII-era London, where he adopts the name Captain Jack Harkness]
[meets Doctor #9 and Rose as Captain Jack Harkness]
[something or other as Captain Jack Harkness]
[battles the Daleks with Doctor #9 and Rose as Captain Jack Harkness]
[dies as Captain Jack Harkness]
[is resurrected as Captain Jack Harkness]
[is sent back to the 1800s as Captain Jack Harkness]

MrsWho · 23/06/2007 21:27

AND

Lived constantly from 1800s (3 Capt Jacks around during WW2)
[shags around a lot]
[watches Rose in the 1990s]
[joins Torchwood]
[shags around a lot (Ianto )]
[Fights Abadon]
[wakes up ]
[hears Tardis]
[chases Tardis/Dr]
[Utopia]

SoupDragon · 24/06/2007 20:22

As an aside, is there another series of Torchwood?

lemonaid · 24/06/2007 20:23

Yes, coming back later this year apparently.

ProjectIcarus · 24/06/2007 20:25

am I the only one who thinks John Barrowman looks like a demented Tom Cruise? He could jump the couch at any moment.

Bouncingturtle · 24/06/2007 20:31

So tell me, did anyone ele who watched the last DW ep secretly hope that Captain Jack and The Master would get it on

PersonalClown · 25/06/2007 11:35

Oggs- Utopia is being shown on BBC3 this Friady at 9pm. Must be showing later because of Glasto.

Twiglett · 25/06/2007 11:38

too many teeth

PersonalClown · 25/06/2007 11:39

Have I missed something Twigg?

purplemonkeydishwasher · 25/06/2007 11:41

"Gays get the best,
Women get all the rest."

oh yes.

like jason gardiner.

Twiglett · 25/06/2007 11:46

JOhn Barrowman's teeth have a life of their own for some reason

PersonalClown · 25/06/2007 11:47

Hadn't noticed. Too busy drooling over the Doctor. And trying to stop ds from re-enacting parts.

slayerette · 25/06/2007 13:51

Saw a picture in one of the Sundays of next week's Dr Who and it looked like Capt. Jack was tied up...That did quite strange things to me and not in a bad way. Is that wrong?

PersonalClown · 25/06/2007 14:10

That's never wrong.

PersonalClown · 25/06/2007 14:13

And was I the only person that said 'Me too' after Jack when the dctor said about fancying someone and them not noticing you.

MrsWho · 25/06/2007 19:36

Capt Jack tied up?

Fubsy · 25/06/2007 20:44

I think there's something very suggestive about the way DT says "Master"
