I saw JB in pantomime a couple of years ago and he was absolutely brilliant. Great stage presence and a fantastic voice.

Can I ask a question? It's probably been asked and answered before, but here goes.

Why does Capt Jack wear an RAF Officers uniform, if he's a captain? As far as I know there are no captain ranks in the RAF, only in the Army and Navy!

Apparently, when he first appeared in Doctor Who, he was wearing the uniform of a Wing Commander. In Torchwood he's dressed as a Group Captain -- which would never actually have been shortened to just "Captain" but, hey, he's American... Alternative explanations are that he was a Captain in the Time Corps and kept the rank when he deserted or that he just thought it sounded good...

Fubsy, I'll just need to try to get hold of Soupy - she was duelling with her video recorder on my behalf to try to tape it for me.
