I hope the Ahmed’s peek outside before they go to bed! That baby could freeze to death!

squirrelonapetridish · 05/11/2018 20:46

That's what I was thinking, she should have at least rang the doorbell! They might not hear otherwise crying with all those fireworks going off 😔

squirrelonapetridish · 05/11/2018 20:47

it not otherwise

southeastdweller · 05/11/2018 21:39

Bonnie Langford was one of the best actors in the show and I'm sad she's gone.

youarenotkiddingme · 05/11/2018 22:51

Cried 😢

So sad and what worse is it's a real portrayal of south London life atm 😢

MyGuideJools · 05/11/2018 23:15

youarenotkidding tonight's episode got to me too, I had a tear in my eye. Excellent acting from 'carmel' and 'keegan'
They could show corrie a thing or two!

Choccywoccyhooha · 05/11/2018 23:34

I have to admit, before she joined I thought Bonnie Langford would be terrible, but she's been an amazing actress, and I have only ever thought of her as Carmel, not BL playing a part. Has she fine for good? (Or as good as for good ever is on 'stenders!).

youarenotkiddingme · 06/11/2018 07:03

Info think BL should have had the Julia's theme as she pulled away in the taxi with Shaki poster in the back window.

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 07:27

I'll miss Carmel too.

IdahoCrow · 06/11/2018 10:28

I thought BL was good too. Very good portrayal of an annoying but endearing character.

And as pp said, how very nice to have break from the overdramatic Carters.

IStandWithPosie · 06/11/2018 13:05

Over just watched Michelle give birth to Vicky on classic eastenders. All the soaps need to watch that epsiode! It was so realistic! No sneaking into a grotty squat, no delivering in the nativity crib, no perfectly made up faces on women who have just delivered! Grin they even had her in a normal ward afterwards with all the other new mums and their visitors instead of the private rooms everyone seems to get now ins soapland.

IStandWithPosie · 06/11/2018 13:06

Ive*

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 16:09

I guess that once EE went from 2 to 4 episodes a week over the years, they have had to write more and more dramatic stories : rehash ones with a twist and make it so we all tune in after a cliffhanger etc.
It has changed a lot : it was more character driven back then.
Now we know that a baby or a wedding usually ends in disaster or shouting or tradegy. Hayley's birth was very OTT though!

Akire · 06/11/2018 17:08

Was shame about music but guess gives her the option of coming back in few years. I’m also glad of prison respite given it could take 6m before trail we can’t be having that every night. You think at least Jonny would been back to office law advice since a hea such expert.

Was anyone else expecting super Sonia to help at birth? I thought it was the law now for medical emergencies! Hopefully she get help and own place. It’s suptuid then all to be living there when half them of no income of own.

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 17:55

How all those Slaters manage in that tiny house amazes me! Can't be bothered to add up how many there are but it's lots including small children as well.
I know it's only a soap, but still!

birdsofafeather · 06/11/2018 19:35

OMG Hayley's mum is horrible

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 19:41

Hayley's mum is horrible but at least she's honest about how bad she is!
It's Linda! Not seen her in a while

youarenotkiddingme · 06/11/2018 19:42

"Couldn't bring up phlegm" 😂😂

IdahoCrow · 06/11/2018 19:48

Oh god, Linda and Stuart doing their drama school method acting.

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 19:56

Yep , Stuart and L have read the email! Best acting faces please.

Abi's baby : Steven was the dad but Ian wasn't Steven's dad so he isn't grandad.
I think that's right. He hasn't any claim.
Cora is great nan.

squirrelonapetridish · 06/11/2018 20:08

Linda has to be playing a game here doesn't she? No way would she forgive him that easily for everything and totally turn against Mick. Ridiculous how her family aren't included in it if that is what she's doing.

The80sweregreat · 06/11/2018 20:12

She's an idiot to believe Stuart!

southeastdweller · 06/11/2018 20:48

I didn't understand why Cora was saying to Ian he's baby Abi's granddad - does she not understand basic biology?

youarenotkiddingme · 06/11/2018 21:12

I though L made a comment about how he was shot in his side when Stuart was showing her. So what he said didn't match injury?

iknowimcoming · 06/11/2018 22:26

I'm with you squirrel I reckon it's all a ploy to catch Stuart out so she can rescue mock
