Everyone has a different point of view with regards to Ruby and her actions that night - I guess this happens in real life too, throw alcohol into the mix and people's recollections being a bit hazy and its easy then for others to get mixed messages about what did go on.
The men know they are in the wrong, but just justify their actions by saying all the old cliches to make themselves feel better about it all.

probably the reason so many real life rape's go unreported. its always their word against the other persons and with photos showing her kissing him and so on, she is as good as guilty of making it all up in some people's eyes already.

Are they preparing the scene for Hayley to have a baby with FAS? She was necking the booze when she came back onto EE (IIRC she'd been on before and hit on Martin I think she said she had a little boy? )

I'm 100% sure (Speculating not Spoiler-ing) that they've got this in mind .

I don't think the baby will have FAS, as Auntie mentioned it and I don't think they'd have introduced the subject like that if Hayley then went on to have a baby with it within the next few weeks, that's surely too unsubtle when for Stenders! I think we will continue to with about the possibility though. Although mothers whose babies have FAS drink far more consistently throughout pregnancy than Hayley has been.

I can imagine another Lola-type storyline where her ability to be a mother is questioned.

I can't imagine it is Denny or Louise who are texting Sharon, that is surely too obvious. But saying that I don't know who it could be. Mel is a good call, as is Hunter.

The baby at the Aunties house was born drug dependant though not FAS , I've just rewatched .

Yes, Harley is drug dependant. But Hayley went over to the wall of foster children photos and mentioned about a child who looked like someone she knew at school. Auntie then went on to explain the effects of FAS, and how it affected that child, other children, and may have affected Hayley's schoolmate. Hayley then ran out of the house.

Harley was, not is, drug dependent I should have said.

It would be interesting for them to do a FAS story, but I'm not sure they have the ability to pull it off. I've taught several children with the condition, including sadly three siblings. It's utterly horrendous.

My cousin has FAS. Not biological he was adopted into family (for obvious reasons!)

I'll be highly critical of they do a fas story and get it wrong!

I'm sure that Hayley will be fine ; with Jean's help she'll bond overnight with her baby and quietly put it in the kiddie wardrobe with Stacey's brood , Jack's two , Ollie and Pearl with a grey cardigan as a security blanket.

I'm Sure that the actual birth will be of the traumatic kind too.

Alfie will show up as the grim reaper with a pair of jeans on and a checked shirt and big belt as he wore when he left a few years back with 3 kids in tow as well.

Not a Dignitas Clinic scenario, her Christian beliefs would over rule and she was arrested IIRC for aiding Ethel .

Ahh poor Dr Legg, he used to live round the corner from me. Last time I saw him was about 15 years ago looking not particularly well outside a pub in Finsbury Park.

I have to say that although Jack's behaviour with Mel, Max, Rainie et al is grim, he was so lovely with Dot in the last couple of episodes! Very sweet and supportive, giving her time and talking through her options - a whole different character.

I've never liked Jack much ; the tooing and froing with Ronnie was a pain and he just seems full of himself.
He is good with Dot though I agree: It's nice to see as many elderly people are often written off or ignored.
