I saw a very good Morris dance company once (I know, weird sentence but it's true). They wore black feathery costumes and were very much about the dark Wicker Man side of traditional country dancing.

I may be wrong Nikita, but i think they started up as a homage to Terry Pratchett's "Dark Morris Dancers" - carried out in total silence . . . .

We'll have to consult the rulebook on cheese-string hair extensions . . . it may be a gateway cheese to Baby Bel false boobs . . . .

(Baby Bel is TOTALLY acceptable as a cheese in its own right, I hasten to add!)

Music a bit better this week, doesn’t seem to be to much wafting around from the couples choice dances, The handbag shuffle sounds like an excellent dance, especially if paired with white stiletto shoes.

I think Danny might be pretty good at the jive, so I'm looking forward to that.

I think it's going to be a challenge for Joe to be slow and smooth in the waltz, will he be able to tuck his bum in? I had to look up that version of The Rainbow Connection, but it turns out to be essentially the same as the Kermit version, so that's all right.

I think Vick could be in trouble this week with the cha cha, although she was pretty good in the salsa so perhaps she'll pull it off.

I think the rumba could be Ashley's worst dance, she's a good dancer but I think she'll struggle to be soft and fluid.

In my next posts I will have a moratorium on typing 'I think'.

We could probably allow cheese string extensions, ditto Baby Bel boobs. I’m going to say ‘no’ to a smoked cheese sausage....

I have just been out and bought some Babybel. I blame you lot. In my defence, Girlcat loves it.

I love a bit of feisty Morris work. Neil and a stick walloping Nsaen/ Sanen/Asenn (take your pick) would be great telly. (Says non-violent me)

Also, I love "Flip Flop Fly" but it reminds me of "Chicken Run" as it was used in that film. Feathery costumes anyone?

I'm not keen on any of them this week. Ah well. The cha cha track is a remake of En Vogue, prefer the original.

Cheese week I would like to represent Gloucester and dance to a reimagining of Kate Bush...rolling down that hill.
But it's not a feta compli...I could also dance to an Abba remake...roule roul. Or Knowing brie, knowing you. Cheesy though the music might be, Gouda get through this
