I know it's just come out today, but I was working from home and binged 5 episodes in the process. Anyone else watching?

Shit, of course he is! I hadn't noticed.

Abigail isn't the ghost of the caretakers baby, but I don't want to say much because of spoilers.

Maybe I'll try it @WhoWants2Know - in the daytime when I'm doing something in the house. I scare myself at night!

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2018 13:20

I need Netflix

Hopefully sky will pick it up

LightastheBreeze · 27/10/2018 15:13

Blondes,

You could get the free month trial, binge watch and then cancel it.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/10/2018 15:20

Seen 1&2. Enjoying it

Not going to binge as think you miss things

I did notice the ghost behind Stephen in e1 when at the door and knob turning

cushioncovers · 31/10/2018 08:53

I've just watched episode 1 of this - I really liked it, but I'm totally freaked out by the fact that the dad is played by Elliott out of ET

Oh of course that's where I recognise him from.

BG2015 · 06/11/2018 21:15

We've just watched it all over the weekend.

It was really good. Lots of twists and bits I didn't predict. I don't do gore or horror but it's jut scary and also about relationships, addiction and family dynamics.

There are 40 hidden ghosts too within it - there's a video on IMDb that shows them all.

It's worth a watch

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2018 07:27

UP to 9

Hopefully see 10 todsy

There’s a lock further down of the hidden ghosts - good

I know this is an old thread but I love knowing things in advance

I’m on ep 8 and there’s so much repetition and people babbling about their emotions blah blah

It started off so well!

I’m on a free trial and just curious to know if 9 and 10 are full of waffle? So far I’ve been paying attention but maybe I can do other stuff while watching. I was going to finish tonight but tired of the blah blah. Also heard there’s a season 2 ...if that’s an excuse not to solve things I will be v annoyed. Tall man looking under the bed was definitely a highlight of all tv I’ve ever seen though!

Clawdy · 04/07/2019 18:31

I heard there was a second series in the offing, but I don't think it's anything to link with the story of the first series. As I remember, the last episode ties up the loose ends. It's worth watching!

RosaWaiting · 04/07/2019 19:02

I’m afraid I fast forwarded a fair chunk of it

So much waffle about how much everyone loves everyone!

Me, I love Tall Man but that’s probably because he doesn’t talk!

I probably missed it but did they say anything more about Arthur’s death?

Clawdy · 04/07/2019 20:07

Sorry, can't remember, but pretty sure it would be sorted by the end. Think there is a Wikipedia about the series which tells you what happens in each episode, pretty detailed.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 04/07/2019 20:19

Girl who played Nellie has been cast in the new series. Loved her in this so be Intresting to see what she does as a different character.

Nope think Arthur's death generally was just that. Nothing supernatural.

RosaWaiting · 04/07/2019 20:28

I half wondered if, like a damaged presence in the Little Stranger, it might be that Bent Neck Lady aka Nell, somehow managed to do something to him because it was part of her story. If that makes any sense.

I really found a massive difference between the last two episodes and the rest of it, like the last two needed a good edit!

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/07/2019 18:45

Wouid love a s2

Tho some things don’t make sense like nell being the bent lady as that hadn’t happened so could she see in the future
