EvilRingahBitch Matthew Cutler is one of my favourites too and his partnership with Alesha is in second place on my all time favourite partnership listGrin.

I loved Matthew and Alesha's quickstep, minimal faffing, hit the floor and dance.

Watching that group jive that has been posted does make me miss those professionals even, dare I say it, James Jordan. There is a good one with the same group doing the Cha Cha to Keep Your Hat On/Don't you wish your Girlfriend.

Wolfcub · 12/10/2018 18:18

I’m waiting for MK to say something about Sean(n) and Katya on ITT

xsquared · 12/10/2018 18:21

Zoe asked George, whoever he is, and he didn’t seem to want to comment or say anything constructive.

Wolfcub · 12/10/2018 18:24

What the shagging bell is AJ wearing

ColdNeverBotheredMeAnyway · 12/10/2018 18:28

ooh Marian Keyes is an interesting choice for ITT given her very public solidarity with Rebecca Humphreys this week...!

mirage937 · 12/10/2018 18:31

I miss Karen, i loved her energy and facial expressions in dances and ive re-watched the salsa many times where they get stuck together, i doubt Tess would be as sympathetic as Bruce was about it.
I preferred the VTs where it was just them training, not lets go to a zoo and dance with the animals

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 12/10/2018 18:33

Haha Wolfcub I still love AJ's hair Grin

I think Lauren is a bit too careful and earnest, she needs to embrace the silliness Wink Glitterball

Loved that "macho" AJ segment, his parents look fun! They own a dance school don't they?

Mozzie those outfits sound incredible, looking forward to tomorrow night!

I want Ashley to dance to something by the Pussycat Dolls!

I'm waiting til after ITT to reminisce and comment on p5 of this thread - LOVE the old pro routines. Not thrilled about yet another pro routine to Girls (run the world) this weekend.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 12/10/2018 18:35

I've muted Darcey as I did with Marian Keyes. Love a bit of Courtney Act Smile

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 12/10/2018 18:36

Is Karen channelling a minion in that outfit? Is she jealous of the Kev and Stacey?!

ColdNeverBotheredMeAnyway · 12/10/2018 18:37

I've found a new career goal.. the woman who gets to exfoliate Giovanni all over with a glove. Literally getting paid to feel his abs.

CassandraCross · 12/10/2018 18:37

mirage937 me too, just do a quick intro VT of them in training and then get on with it. The programme wouldn't go on so long if they didn't need to build the equivalent of the full set of Les Miserables for every dance, which would also negate the need for extra long VTs of days out in Paris to cover up the time taken to take down and rebuild the damn things. Just get out there and dance, as Len used to say "Stop faffing abaaht".

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 12/10/2018 18:55

Agreed! Stick to the training room VTs Glitterball

What with same sex dancing being a hot topic, I wonder if Strictly would entertain a drag queen (e.g. Courtney Act!) dancing with a male pro?

covetingthepreciousthings · 12/10/2018 20:33

Hopefully this link works.. I like this new Strictly vs Casette Boy video.. made me smile.

derxa · 12/10/2018 20:37

Zoe the Hypocrite

TheSassyAssassin · 12/10/2018 20:38

Very funny coveting, made me smile too! Smile

Oddcat · 12/10/2018 23:33

I thought george Lamb was a bit dismissive of Sean and Katya on ITT , he’s obviously not a fan !

knottyhair · 13/10/2018 06:39

Derxa, why Zoe the hypocrite? Obviously you're referring to when she kissed another bloke whilst married to Norman Cook. But why is she a hypocrite? Has she criticised Sean(n) & Katya, or indeed made any comment about what's happened? Not that I've seen. Also I thought it was obvious from the panel on ITT how hard it will be to keep Sean(n) on the show to be honest. They are trying to only talk about the dancing when it comes to mentioning them but it just goes to show how impossible that is, it comes across as awkward. Marian Keyes was silent, George Lamb didn't say much at all (although he did praise the Matrix dance from last week) and Courtney Act just said he needed more swivel. And good on them, I think that reflects how unsympathetic people are feeling towards him. They managed to convey that without actually saying anything (I imagine they had been asked not to).

ppeatfruit · 13/10/2018 08:02

Did anyone think 'weird' on ITT yesterday they went to all the trouble of getting people to vote for their fave Anton and partner dance and then gave less than a minute of it???

Marian Keyes was good btw. at least she said what she thought unlike the bloke. I liked it when Courtney mentioned how much she liked Stacey too.

latedecember1963 · 13/10/2018 11:03

Yes, I said to DH that it would have been nice to have seen more of Anton's dance.
DH is at a Scout regional training day today and wasn't looking forward to it. I've just texted him the " career goals" comment for when it's a drinks break as I know it'll give him a laugh!

CassandraCross · 13/10/2018 12:22

So where in the running order of tonight's show do we think Sean and Katya will feature? First on to get it over with, or, in a middle order death slot? I doubt the BBC will have them as the last couple to dance as they usually try to end the show with a good, memorable routine.

Although if the BBC think there are loads of people tuning in just to see Katya & Sean they may think putting them on at the end will keep the audience watching? I don't think that will work, people who don't normally watch the show and are tuning in just because of this weeks shenanigans won't want to sit through 2 hours plus just for that.

Personally, I think they should put them on early and get it over and done with as otherwise it will distract from all the other dances/dancers.

SpanishFly · 13/10/2018 12:29

I agree, get it out of the way and watch the others properly.
I still think the audience should just sit silently when they finish

CassandraCross · 13/10/2018 13:08

SpanishFly I don't know, the audience staying silent when they finish will just make them look like victims/underdogs and that won't play well with the viewing public. Muted applause would be better, no standing up and wooping!

PurpleOctober · 13/10/2018 13:41

Dear lord, maybe the BBC should make them wear big scarlet As too? They made a silly mistake in their private lives, but the pearl clutching is OTT now. The audience should treat them as they would any other dance act.

Inkanta · 13/10/2018 13:52

'They made a silly mistake in their private lives'

No Purple it's not just a kiss or just a little mistake. I can't imagine what heartache this has caused Rebecca and Neil. I have no sympathy for Katya and Seann, -they have disrupted the competition enough and I want them both out.

xsquared · 13/10/2018 14:00

Past contestants and pros have done far worse but have remained in the competition or continued with their careers. They were just “fortunate” enough not to be photographed in the act.

I agree that it’s the dancing that should be judged not their morals.
