I believe others have seen them, yes, but they've never made a fuss or talked about it.

I loved that episode! Yes it stretched reality, and there were minor continuity errors but I suppose it is only a tv show!

Really made me nostalgic for the old days when I was obsessed with it. Glad Rick isn't really dead, am very interested to see how this pans out.

Shed a little tear when Daryls bottom lip was quivering 

How come everyone has seen the other characters? Is this in a trailer for next week's episode? I watch on NowTV so we don't get trailers...

Someone pls tell me that Daryl has cut his hair... And that Aaron has shaved his stupid beard.

Also, what was Jesus' backstory again? How did he become a gay ninja?

@Andylion yes, I can't remember which episode but I'm pretty sure Rick saw one last season? Maybe by now they've decided to just focus on their communities and not hope too much...

I wonder if we will get an explanation as to why there are still zombies around.

@Blondeshavemorefun I wouldn't be too keen to make babies tbh. Big risk of death in childbirth, plus babies and young children make you very vulnerable and can make quick escapes from zombie hordes difficult, plus more mouths to feed. You'd have to be confident in where things to try.

Well, honestly I always thought it was a bit reckless tbh. 😁 but I guess there's an argument to be made that you don't have time to wait, either.

I'm really conflicted (sorry, late to the party!). I don't what to think. Loved the suspense, was much more like earlier episodes...but it just seemed to open up too many questions that I doubt we'll get answered to a satisfactory standard.

Off the top of my head:
A or B thing, WTF?! I kind of had Alpha / Beta in my head but doesn't hold water as I'd definitely say Rick is an Alpha

Where is Gabriel? Did she just leave him tied up in her broken down van?!

YY to the "new" group - if they've been in this zombie-fied for what? 11 years? Surely they haven't just been ambling about in make-shift camps? They must have come from "somewhere"

Who died in the shoot out at the bridge building camp? Presumably nobody significant?

I liked it. Loved the characters coming back to Rick. Love Andrews comparison to the wizard of oz characters😀

Rick saw a helicopter after he and Daryl had the fight last season which ended in them accidentally blowing up the explosives they stole from negan.

I dont think the amount of walkers is too difficult to imagine. When you think of the millions of people in the cities and rural USA and the fact that they follow noise (gunfire/helicoptets etc) or food (people or animals) or each other and create herds and just keep on walking its not hard to see the herd would grow and that they will rock up to populated areas eventually.
Didnt the Dr at the cdc say something about 2/3 of the pop being affected by the virus? Thats a lot of walkers! And they of course would turn a lot of people on the way.

(Of course we are ignoring the medical impossibility of zombies in real.life but this is 'our family' in an alternative possible reality here. Its
Important we dont minimise the very real dangers.😉)

I enjoyed the episode but found it strangely unmoving, I thought I'd cry but I didn't. I never bought the Michonne/Rick partnership there's never been chemistry there for me so maybe that's why I didn't feel it. It was great to see Scott Wilson though but I think it lacked Glenn for me. I have always thought the series would have been better if Shane had won though not Rick. Interestingly there's been more chemistry for me with Rick and Jadis so I wonder if the films will reflect that.

I loved Judith, Judith Grimes. And the preview clip with her shown on Talking Dead was very exciting. And Carol looks extra badass too, Michonne seemed changed next week more Maggie-esque? Looking forward to the Whisperers.

@willow2017 as an aside if you google Chris Hardwick you may not think he's lovely afterwards.

I really liked the Negan/Maggie interaction. Really well done. It proved Rick right. Keeping him alive is worse than killing him. Glad she didnt kill him even though i understand her reasons for wanting to it would have changed things and her forever.

And you go Judith Grimes! looks like she is carrying on Carls vision.

Not that i am completely sucked in to this world or anything😀

@Willow2017 I don't think I'll watch recaps of previous episodes 😄 lets see...

@furryleopard if Shane had won, I don't think the group would have made it. Rick has made mistakes but he's an excellent leader. Shane couldn't listen to anyone AND he ended up pretty unhinged (although I loved his character and wish he somehow could have pulled his head out of his arse). He was kind of a proto-Negan but less stable. It's not even that he was ready to do anything to protect his family that was his worst problem.

And yes, much better to keep Negan locked up and impotent. I get the impulse to kill him but this is much better and longer lasting punishment.

@Willow2017 Ah yes, bollocks, of course she did. Hence the gun, she was planning to attack the helicopter pilot I guess.

And YY, I remember Rick seeing her helicopter now.

I think it's just confused me to the point where I don't know what to think! I mean 6 whole years jump - presuming that Rick survives I can't see why he wouldn't be doing everything in his power to get back "home" or even bring his people to him.

I know it wouldn't have worked with Shane really but Jon Bernthal is just gorgeous and Andrew Lincoln will always be Egg the wet lettuce to me!

Why didn't they all see the helicopter? And it's true there's no way in 6 years Rick wouldn't make his way back but I assume that will be the wrapping up story when the series ends - Rick will come home with a cure or something.

I read it may have been Maggie's last episode as well. I hope that's not the case and she hasn't been totally overshadowed by Rick leaving. Maggie is infinitely more interesting than Rick and Lauren Cohen is a great actress.

@furryleopard well, Jon is not really my type but he is a fantastic actor and really made me feel for Shane when it would have been so easy to hate him. Have you got Netflix? Because he's fantastic as The Punisher.

So I've watched Talking Dead about this ep - lovely Andrew interview - but I am not liking the glimpse of Michonne. Both her hair, and the return of her angry face, which kind of comes across as acting too hard. It's been 6 years, Michonne - are you telling me you got over your sons' death faster than Rick's??

Still not convinced by Judith - I wish they'd have cheated with time again, called it a 6 year tume jump but cast a girl at least 10 years old.

Is it really going to be a time jump? Or one of the dream sequences, like the one Rick had about the whole "family" sitting at a picnic table, with a baby.

And one (may have been Negan's dream) with Judith eating an apple.

The impact of the bridge/ Rick's last scenes were spoilt for me with all the spoilers, I'd caught something on Facebook about him going in the helicopter, but when they were announcing it in the intervals for the previous two episodes it completely took away any suspense.

I'm nostalgic for the early series now, for me it started losing its pull sometime in the later Alexandra days, the group's strength seemed to dilute with all the new characters and other settlements.

Agree that I'd like to know more about Negan, he's a really strong character and I hope he's not just left in the cage for the rest of his life.

I'd like him to meet his "cheese maker" and reform his character and stand with the other leaders!

The apple eating dream was Carl's. And I think it might have been a tomato. 😄

Yes, I wonder what Negan will be doing in this time jump.

At least Eugene has cut his hair so here's Daryl will have done, too.

Jon Bernthal is gorgeous in a rugged sort of way and is brilliant in pretty much everything he does. I luvvs him.

Watching Jon in CSI Miami so cute back then, no skinhead but dark wavy hair (although he is pretty fine these days too)

I'm really looking forward to the new rejuvenated TWD. I think this is a real opportunity and I'm excited by what's been trailed so far.
