I remember seeing an interview with Simon Gregson several years ago who admitted he'd never be able to get a better job and would be on Corrie for as long as they'd have him. Sensible guy!

They really do miss a trick when they have these epic disasters (IIRC when the minibus crashed no-one died though Sinaed did break her legs)

So if they're planning a disaster ( bomb/poisoning/meteorite/axeman/explosion --delete as applicable) y'all want Ryan'n'Chelle in there , Chesney'n'Fizz and Gary.

Liz, Tracy and Jenny were excellent tonight. Missed opportunity to kill off Ryan and Michelle. When I saw Ronan's gun I thought she was about to survive another bullet.

I've no idea. The scene was a bit odd. She was referring to the cancer of course, but it was a strange conversation.

The Sinead impression is in the 2nd half of the 8.30 one. Its just coming up now on the Omnibus on itv2 + 1

I am raging at what they have done to Ali, he needs to get the hell out of weatherfield. Surely if Paula had a son/stepson who had just died it would have been mentioned? And why the hell didn't anyone call the police on that Hannah one? I have to admit, over dramatic as it all was, I did enjoy Friday's episodes.

Yes, Ronan looked far too similar to Neil and really pissed me off by not taking the opportunity to rid us of that godawful Michelle.

I also don't understand why Jim made no effort to get Liz's money back.

Michelle will stay in corrie until the actress resurrects her singing career. So basically forever.

Sorry if it’s been mentioned but do we know what stage we’re at with writers leaving? Are we seeing stuff from the new one yet or are we still on the Evil Pat writer’s contributions?
