DS knows Jane Danson, and she is lovely in real life, such a pity they give her such awful story lines. She looks permanently sad or weary, because there is usually something unpleasant happening to her on the Street!

Jane danson on Google images looks much prettier than Leanne in Corrie.

But then most of them look stunning when they're done up for showbiz stuff.

They do. On my HD tv she does NOT look good. It's just emphasised by casting her as such a femme fatale, otherwise no one would really notice too much.

Why is David being so mean to Emma? She's really sweet.

Jenny's one of my favourite characters (and there aren't many). Stroke of genius putting her in the pub.

Yes Jenny has really came into her own in that pub, it’s like this part of her was well hidden until then! I hope she stays put for years to come because she’s a natural landlady.

Jenny in the pub shows up just how terrible Toyah was as landlady!

I love Jenny full stop. I think she’s a great character

Jenny is a good character. She's also a good actress. Just with her body language and facial expressions she can really enhance a scene. Toyah was the worst landlady of the Rovers. Ever.

Toyah was badly cast as the landlady of the Rovers, what on earth were they thinking. Absolute no charisma or personality, whereas Jenny has it in bucket loads.

I particularly like the way in which Jenny's relationship with Johnny has changed. For a long time she just let him walk all over her but she's very much in charge now

Jenny is terrific, and Adam needs a decent storyline, he is woefully underused. Loved when Audrey lobbed the flowers at Claudia, watched it several times and it made me laugh each time.

I don't generally like commenting on people's appearance (I'm always too worried they'll google and be upset ) however, on the current chat - I once read on here someone refer to Fizz as a 'timeless beauty'

Yes please use Adam more Corrie! I had to chuckle at him going to Kens for food, it reminded me of my brothers.

I loved the bit where Adam went to Kens because he has better food, definitely needs to be more Adam.

I’m so glad they gave Jenny the pub. She was born to that role. Before the pub she was a bit lost for a purpose and spent all her time trying to keep Johnny happy. She was becoming a bit of a pathetic character IMO so I’m glad they saved her from that. Couldn’t care less what happens to Johnny but please keep Jenny in the pub for many years to come!

I had to chuckle at him going to Kens for food, it reminded me of my brothers.

I used to go to my mum’s when it was a cold day because I knew she’d have made my dad stew for dinner.

Also does anyone else think they’re gearing up to bring maria back to Audrey's and probably give Claudia the heave ho? I hope they don’t. I would enjoy the rivalry to continue between them as a running background story.
