Can't see another thread so have started one. Sorry I couldn't think of a better thread title!! 😂 😂 😂

So Anton is NOT leaving after all. He has tweeted to say ‘whether they want me or not’ he is NOT leaving...thank goodness. I am not a HUGE fan, but it would have left an unpleasant taste if he had left in a huff

What has happened ?why is Anton tweeting that .

Oh I didn't know that Anton had thrown his toys out of the pram! Not for long then! What was the reason?

Why did Anton tweet that. And what a shame, I would love to see the back of him.

There were rumours he had quit in a huff after always being saddled with duffers. It's not true (apparently).

He gets the duffers because he's a duffer himself, he really can't do latin very well at all as became perfectly clear when he had the surprisingly good Katie Derham. Nor can he keep up with the other pros, which is why he does a little ballroom and then gets relegated to the background in the pro group dances.

Oh I suspect that's just his sense of humour but it's hard to read sarcasm in a tweet. They'd be mad to let him go. He's halfway to being a national treasure, whether you like him or not.

Also he may get paired with duffers and he may not be the most gymnastic out of ballroom but he's fit and healthy and able to hold his own. Well, not against the likes of Gleb and the mad young bucks who think they're in the Olympics but he's fine, really.

People act like he's Methusalah but I'm in my 40s so I don't see him as that old at all.

There has to be something for everyone! So Anton can deal with the duffers! I feel a bit sorry for him, he was saying some unkind things about SC (not that she didn't deserve them!) but he'd 've been better to keep his mouth shut.

I remember when Blue band had a great dancer in the band but cannot remember his name. Lee has lovely arm and hand movements showing he has trained in ballet and I think it strange that Craig with his aversion to spatula hands of the men didn't mention this.
I don't like his hair style at all but he can dance. Not sure about Joe apart from the fact that he' s likeable.
Danny is a profi but his cha cha was too jerky. He will be brilliant at all the ballroom as ballet trained usually are. looking forward to seeing his AS and AT.
The last dancer was the best female celeb. See how she does in the Ballroom..

I don't think Joe is likeable - he more I see of him, the less I can tolerate him.

@ppeatfruit I think Katya's husband & dance partner Neil helps with her routines.

Pretty sure Katya is qualified to teach. She and Neil are British champions in professional ballroom I believe and they own a dance school.

I don't mind Joe.. but I am concerned that he could win purely due to the ridiculous amount of fans he has.

I may even namechange to Fuzzty I like it!

But isnt the last 2 down to the judges after the public narrow it down? So the judges wont pick Joe if he is the 2nd best dancer

I agree, but don't even know who he is. I was disappointed with his Charleston. However, I am in that age group who want to fatten him up. .

Who was the best dancer in Blue? I remember being very impressed with him many years ago.

@Whisky2014 but the issue would be that even if he ended up being one of the worse dancers as weeks go on he would never end up in the bottom 2, as his fans would vote for him every week keeping him out of the dance off. Does that make sense?
