She looked as if she didn't want to be there and was making no effort whatsoever.

That's what I thought - she didn't even have the good manners to pretend.

She should have refused the invitation and let somei=one else have the place.

Just as a matter of interest, does anyone know how the slebs are chosen? Do they register an interest and get kept on a list, or does the BBC just ring up a random selection out of the blue and say either "Look - you're fabulous and will be a great draw for the show. Please come on and we'll give you a shtload of money" or "Look, you're rubbish and your career is in the toilet. Why not take this chance to be publicly humiliated and raise your profile? We'll give you a shtload of money!"

Was surprised Lee was in the bottom 2 he looked gutted Susanah however looked not arsed about the whole thing she must have been the most unenthusiastic contestant ever.

Was last nights group dance a precursor. ? Same sex couples. Just a thought

Yes Dd noticed the boys dancing together, and wondered if this is what they were on about when it was mentioned there was going to be same sex dancing.

Agree about Susannah why did she bother entering? She obviously thought it was beneath her (and from the way she was pawing Anton in their last dance just wanted him on top of her !) sorry .

Do they still get paid the full fee if they are knocked out early?

I think so no training room for Anton today

Oh I don't know how they get paid are the Pros salaried and celebs get a fee ?

I think I read somewhere that they get a basic salary (pros) but they get more in the weeks that their contestant is still in- so there is a financial incentive for staying in.

Presumably the celebs get what their agents negotiate/the bbc think their worth..,

So when the pros do that Ott YES at the vote off they are just thinking more money

To be fair to susannah, the judges were so rude about her both weeks that I’m not surprised she wasn’t at all enthusiastic!

I was wondering if the pros get help from an experienced ballroom dancer\teacher (thinking about Katya here) or are they trained teachers themselves?

Because Katya needs guidance from someone , instead of laughing at Lee, who was trying sooo hard, the judges should have told Katya to cool down with the 'content' for him, he couldn't cope at all.

Soup she was ready for them! She said that she was going to ask Craig (if he was negative) to show her how to do it, and she did! To be fair she forgot that the judges DO know what they're talking about!

I noticed that Craig was very sorry right at the end!! He could've been kinder when she was actually dancing ! Though she really couldn't dance and was almost worse that Judy Murray . Poor woman.

It's been annoying me for weeks who Vick sounds like and last night in the middle of the night is came to me...

It NEVER ceases to amaze me how slebs who presumably know their dancing abilities by now nonetheless agree to put themselves, and us, through this. (But thank God they do 😁)

DH and I have four left feet between us (metaphorically speaking, otherwise we would be a funny sight and not just on the dance floor). We were recently coerced into dancing by an over-enthusiastic tour guide and a LOT of rum punch. We’ve wordlessly agreed it will never be spoken of again.

Not even the sh**loads of money they must be offering would persuade me.
