I didn't get that room on the door thing. What was it about?

They were teasing Jac about liking the film Titanic...She mutters, lThere was room on that door", which is one of the most infamous complaints about the ending of the film, spawning lots of memes.

Jac said early in the episode that she had a cold, hence the voice.

Evan is such a nasty piece of work.

What a boring episode. The only highlight was Ric putting Essie back in her box for poking her oar in again. Then it was ruined by him apologising.

A quiet day on the wards again it would seem with Ange having time to hang around in corridors and Darwin messing around over an ageing actress.

I'm so done now with Ange/Chloe/Dom and can't face another 'Essie can't have a baby' drama again.

Does anyone else wish Essie would buzz of for a while?

I am tired of Dom/Chloe/Ange too. And Dom hasn't told Lofty yet, so it will be strung out even longer.

Evan has already caused serious mischief. Suspect he will do something which will have life:death consequences before too long.

Yes, Dom/Ange/Chloe storyline needs to go on a backburner but suspect that Dom's vulnerability will feed into Isaac's return storyline.

We haven't seen much of HH recently - he needs a positive storyline.

Evan reminds me of Isaac. Seemingly charming but controlling really. unlike the violence Issac had he's controlling in a passive aggressive way. I see a cohercive control storyline.

Now you've said that I wonder if they've brought in his character in time for Isaac coming back so Dom and Chloe bond over it?

And now Chloe has gone off with Evan in his car, my prediction will be that their night ends in a drunken state, he rapes her, she falls pregnant and follows the storyline of her mum.

Oh that's dark :(

Evan is certainly creepy.

I was actually surprised that Essie told Darla she couldn’t adopt her baby as there were official channels to go through. I thought given the writers‘ nodding acquaintance with reality she would seize the opportunity like a flash.

Yup, I was waiting for Essie to offer!

I also blinked at the almost realism of that bit!

So, Chloe and Evan and Dom and Isaac....both involved with abusers and all taking place at Holby. Who would have thought it.

Don't give up on Essie being after Darla's baby yet. The length of time the Essie no-baby story has gone on for she could have adopted one by now. She got permission to foster that teenage boy in super quick time.

Weirdly the story of Eddie's friend with frozen embryos fizzled out. They got used by Gaskill perhaps ? I felt sure we were headed for "Essie volunteers to get pregnant with the frozen embryos and save somebody's life" territory.

I think we all need to volunteer to be scriptwriters in this

Doh Essie's friend autocorrect doesn't like her either apparently!!

Essie seems to be centre-stage every week.

What happened to the son of the friend with the frozen embryos. Did he die?

Did I read here once that the script writes follow this page?

Artistic licence aside, I reckon we should be acknowledged

Perhaps we could each recommend a random, unusual phrase or word that they could include in the script somewhere for a bit of fun. As an ex stage actor, we used to do this, great fun.

My word (s) would be "Earthenware pottery" as that was the hardest one I ever had to squeeze in

I am not sure that that wasn't just an ugly rumour, but if earthenware pottery is mentioned we will know it's true!

Haha Dom prattling on about some earthenwear pottery will be great

They could use an earthenware mug as a reusable coffee cup

Lofty could bring Dom some artisan earthenware pottery back from his trip. Or a hand thrown pot made by Sheila, painted with Dom's face
