So Dom was the result of a drunken fumble then. Bit boring for Holby. If I was Dom I'd run a mile from both of his awful mothers.

Not only has yet another consultant left without giving any notice but we now have a new receptionist that started the day after she applied for the job, just like Steven the porter. I know someone who was accepted for an admin/reception job in the NHS after a very lengthy application process and was still waiting for a start date 2 months later. She gave up in the end and took another job.

She applied for it 'a couple of weeks ago'. Still unrealistic though.
I wondered if Ange was telling the truth about Dom's father. She seemed to pluck 'Cheltenham' out of the air. Or maybe I am reading too much into it.
New doctor isn't doing it for me. Maybe Jac though...

Just heard a great story about Ramin Karimloo. A FB friends daughter was in Phantom with him. Her sister came to see her at the stage door. He came out and asked if she was going to watch her sister in the show. She explained she couldn't afford a ticket and he bought her one! ♥

Oh I didn't realise about the couple of weeks ago...it wasn't mentioned 'a couple of weeks ago' so I guess just put in after for convenience.

Is new doctor knocking Fletch off his perch for ward totty I wonder.

And what was going on with Fletch's hair? looked like an oil slick. I much preferred it shorter without all the muck in it.

Another bit of Holby subtlety - 'HELLO, we use REUSABLE COFFEE CUPS now! Here we are carrying them into the lift! And in the staff room! And walking down the corridor! Look! They're REUSABLE ONES!'

Did Essie and the new doctor really have sex in the pub toilets? Do people really do that? I mean I know students did / do but 40 something professions in a small pub they regularly frequent? Really?

SoupDragon They've been waving them around for at least the last two episodes. They mostly seem to travel in pairs - one blue and one black - but Scary Sue has her own floral one because she's Not One of Us. Once you spot them you won't be able to unsee them, trust me!

Have to agree that there probably was toilet action between Essie and Kian. At first I thought they'd gone home together, but then it was clear that he spent the night in the other guy's car. Had it just been a snog there wouldn't have been all the embarrassment, so I'm pretty sure thaegumathteth is right. Hmm

Interesting. I don't think she plays "little woman" at all. I think she usually comes across as strong, capable and a bit feisty.

OMG when that doctor took his t-shirt off! XI’m not attracted to his face and I find his character annoying but good God that torso was delicious!!! Grin

I cannot stand the way that Dom is behaving towards his mom (Carole), he’s coming across as really, really unpleasant which is a shame because I’ve always liked his character.

I agree about Dom (and the new Dr!). The way he won't even call her mum any more despite the fact that she has always loved him and been his mum is horrible. Spoilt kid.
