Anyone going to be watching this? Starts this Sat, 22nd Sept, at 9.15pm on BBC1. It sounds quite interesting and has high ratings.

I really liked it but it's very cold! No one is very human. I did laugh a lot though.

leghairdontcare · 15/09/2018 22:25

Loved it. I think depiction of women in this and in fleabag are so natural and well rounded (apart from villanelle, obviously) sometimes people react oddly to it. Female led shows are still relatively new as a concept.

BathroomLights · 15/09/2018 22:25

@MozzieMagnet

8 episodes and it's on the iPlayer for over a year.

MozzieMagnet · 15/09/2018 22:30

Brilliant bathroom Thank you. So that's my next 2 months sorted and Dad can watch it at his own pace.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 15/09/2018 22:34

It was bloody brilliant. Jodie Cromer is being suitably stretched in this. I’m going to make this last, no spoilers please!!

LittleBookofCalm · 15/09/2018 22:34

Love Martin from the bridge

ArcadePixie · 15/09/2018 22:37

Thought it was brilliant. Right up my street. Direction was incredible

bunzie · 15/09/2018 22:49

Yes I will be watching and following this thread. Smile

SureIusedtobetaller · 15/09/2018 23:09

It’s bloody brilliant. Watched two. Going to try to make it last at least the week. Very dark but funny.

tinstar · 16/09/2018 09:26

Also thought it was brilliant (and started, but didn't like Fleabag)

thenightsky · 16/09/2018 15:37

What was that massive Velcro bra she took off when she got into her Paris apartment at the beginning? Was it a bullet proof vest or something?

TooOldForThisNow · 16/09/2018 17:08

I thought it was part of her disguise as she was described as flat chested.

spiderlight · 16/09/2018 18:10

Enjoyed that! I loved Sandra Oh in Grey's Anatomy and I love Fleabag, so I had high expectations and it met them in style!

Lauren0rder · 16/09/2018 18:50

Loving this.

TheZeppo · 16/09/2018 19:03

I really enjoyed it. I think Jodie Comer is a real rising star.

LightastheBreeze · 16/09/2018 19:36

Really enjoying this, I have watched 3 episodes so far as I couldn’t wait

ScribblyGum · 16/09/2018 19:51

Dh, dd1 and I have binge watched the whole eight episodes today Blush. We all loved it.
Aside from the plot, the characters, the black humour, snappy intelligent dialogue and the engrossing mystery which are all excellent, I loved the soundtrack, the sets and the clothes too. Some really clever cinematography as well. Millions times better than the load of old bobbins that is The Bodyguard.

NewDirectionNeeded · 16/09/2018 20:34

I was on a 'dark and/or disturbing cleanse', but DP really wants to watch this and is being sulky that I'd rather not.

How dark are we talking?

PawneeParksDept · 16/09/2018 20:35

I've seen darker. There's a humorous edge to it.

NewDirectionNeeded · 16/09/2018 20:39

Pawn, I'm getting more and more sensitive though. I just don't want something to stay with me and disturb me. Can you compare it to something?

God I'm such a wuss Blush

LaGattaNera · 16/09/2018 20:50

NewDirectionNeeded I too am sensitive but can manage it and think it is great actually - I cannot managed the Handmaid's Tale so for me, it is not as dark and awful as that if it helps as a comparison. Can DP not watch by himself perhaps?

troodiedoo · 16/09/2018 20:54

if you put all the black mirror episodes in ascending order of darkness, I would put killing eve in the middle.

PawneeParksDept · 16/09/2018 21:14

Not as dark as either the Bodyguard or Line Of Duty as there is light and shade

Darker than a run of the mill US Drama of the sort shown on Sky.

It's a hard one to compare really

BathroomLights · 16/09/2018 21:25

I hate watching violent and dark stuff but I'm ok with this. In episode one there's...a murder. You know what's happened but don't see it, you just see the bit of him that is looking ok still, but the expression on his face makes it almost amusing, if that's the right word to use?

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/09/2018 19:38

I absolutely loved this

Very funny in places

Tho wouldn’t her fingerprints be over the hair slide Killy thing
