Anyone going to be watching this? Starts this Sat, 22nd Sept, at 9.15pm on BBC1. It sounds quite interesting and has high ratings.

Take the hump if you like, I didn't say you'd done anything

OfficeDictionary · 14/09/2018 12:25

Eagerly awaiting this on Sat. Trailer and sneak peek look amazing. Made DH watch them too and he's in Smile Not often we're both excited about the same prog!

crumbsinthecutlerydrawer · 14/09/2018 12:48

That was kind of my point, no one has said anything. I’m watching on rte so not finished yet and I’d be annoyed if someone spoilt it for me but I’m not wound up if someone wants to point out there’s a good episode coming up.

PawneeParksDept · 14/09/2018 13:05

And I didn't say anyone had I said "Please don't"

Anyway we'll draw a line as arguing about it just derails the thread.

Has anyone read the books? I'd never heard of them

longtompot · 14/09/2018 16:15

Please, no arguing on here!

@Blondeshavemorefun I thought it was about a serial killer? I could be wrong.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/09/2018 16:33

I’m just wrote what bbc 1 said

Haven’t a clue lol

Procrastination4 · 14/09/2018 16:57

There’s a serial killer in it. There’s someone trying to find the serial killer. It’s good!

Procrastination4 · 14/09/2018 16:58

Trying to impart no details of the story!Grin

CoolCarrie · 15/09/2018 14:17

It about a battle of wills between female agent and a female assassin, that all we need to know. It’s based on Codename Villanelle by Luck Jennings

CoolCarrie · 15/09/2018 14:19

Luke Jennings not Luck!

covetingthepreciousthings · 15/09/2018 19:38

Yes I'm going to be watching, very excited. Although Sandra Oh will always be Cristina Yang to me, so hopefully I can try get past that.

thenightsky · 15/09/2018 21:36

Watching. DH has read the book but he's keeping schtum.

RandomMess · 15/09/2018 21:42

Blurgh to the graphic violence!

Davros · 15/09/2018 21:47

The whole series is available on iPlayer

2rebecca · 15/09/2018 21:48

Eve seems very artificial and not a real person. It's not gripping. She's always eating. Like the psycho assassin but she's a lot like the guy in Fargo 1

PawneeParksDept · 15/09/2018 21:49

I might binge it tomorrow in that case thanks @Davros

2rebecca · 15/09/2018 21:56

What's with the panic stricken "oh my gods"? Surely police officers won't behave like civilians faced with dead people. I'm a GP but wouldn't start oh my goding faced with dead people. They're making her unbelievable because they're trying to make her "cute and ditsy" and likeable.

Davros · 15/09/2018 21:57

I will try to resist. Maybe

PawneeParksDept · 15/09/2018 21:58

Yes. I like.

FreezerBird · 15/09/2018 22:03

Oh I loved that. Loved it. Never seen Sandra Oh in anything before but she's fabulous!

longtompot · 15/09/2018 22:03

I like too. A bit quirky, dark humour, love Eve! Not going to binge watch despite dh wanting to watch more. I shall save this treat.

QueenOfTheAndals · 15/09/2018 22:04

Why does Eve's DH have that ridiculous 70s porn star 'tache? It's a bit distracting!

MozzieMagnet · 15/09/2018 22:11

I liked that very much - sadly I don't have access to Iplayer. Or maybe a good job or I would binge. I did recommend it to my dad who does get Iplayer but he's going to be away: How long do they have it on Iplayer for and how many episodes is it?
Thx in advance Flowers

troodiedoo · 15/09/2018 22:16

loved this first episode. I too was distracted by her dh's tache, just made me think of 118 adverts.

I guessed she was omg ing because she had massively cocked up her job.

DeadBod · 15/09/2018 22:18

Thoroughly enjoyed that.
I hated Jodie Comer in Dr Foster but I really like her in this.
