Good god, stop analysing her face. I have a big nose and am funny-looking and would be horrified if a bunch of people were speculating about whether a part of my face was real or not. Who cares what she looks like? Can we please get back to the baking?

Are you me? I have what my grannie (who loved me very much) used to call a "strong" nose. Also my head is a funny shape (but only on one side).

I do think that Kim-Joy, like myself, has an "unusual" sort of face - but I think she's lovely and I want her to winenjoyed watching her.

So you've possibly had something spoilt for you so you decided to spoil it for everyone else????

I'm on Extra Slice and it was filmed last Saturday so I knew exactly who was going out on Tuesday, plus a lot of other stuff. I cannot begin to tell you how hot the production team was on stressing no spoilers. They said that if anyone got their mobile out during filming it would be taken and put back to factory settings.

I did not say a word on this thread and you come along and post that?! I can only presume it means nothing (let's hope) If I knew how important it was not to spoil from just one episode of Extra Slice, I am sure the contestants do!

I don't think what that contestant has done is it at all conclusive that he or she has won but agree the post should be deleted.

Twatty of the Daily Star to report it though and imply that it means a contestant has won. Contestants can register domain names any time they like (it's not like they registered BAKEOFFWINNER2018.COM), and it isn't only the winners of such contests who end up making a career out of it.

I didn't even think of this when we were all watching on Tuesday, but didn't Extra Slice used to be live (or at least they used to pretend it was live). Or have I just imagined that?

Not sure if it was ever live. It might have been.

It has changed somewhat since C4 and it's now an hour programme which took about 5 hours to film!

Didn't it used to be half an hour when it was on BBC2?!

I doubt it was live, they usually have to do some editing. I once went to a recording of the equivalent show for The Apprentice - the recording happened a couple of days before the programme was aired, so far as I remember, but they showed us the whole programme first and emphasised that everyone needed to keep schtumm. It was quite awkward, because people knew I had been and asked how I had voted at the end when they asked you to put up the Fired/Hired cards. However, that week there were three firings and I hadn't voted consistently, but, short of lying outright, there was no way I could answer the question without giving it away that there's been more than one person fired.
