Lots of rumours of who is going to be on but none confirmed as far as I know.

Ashley is super pretty and likeable-Will look forward to seeing her dance(erm again!!!!!!)
Thought Charles came across really sleazy but maybe he will calm that down once the hard work starts!!
Just two more weeks to wait! Pah.

Perhaps Charles will be out first. I hope Pasha stays longer than a couple of weeks this year.

Just a quick brain dump:

• Charles was vile - beautiful but just vile
• Joe was surprisingly sweet and I actually really liked him - totally out of his comfort zone, nothing in common with any of the other slebs and shitting it.
• I also really liked Stacey although no real idea who she is
• My favourite sleb though is Dr Ranj.. I'm glad Monkseal has him as a dark horse as I would love to see him go really far
• My favourite pro is Oti and I am really excited to see what she can do with Graeme. He seems really fun too

I can't actually wait this year - good line-up and even the ringers (Ashley & DJJ who choreographed Starlight Express so knows his way round professional dancers!) are extremely likeable.

Fuck Charles though - he is vile!!!

There's been a few people on this thread calling Sean Walsh an arsehole.. just wondered what he'd done?

Agree with others about Charles, there was something 'off' with him.
I do think he wanted Oti as a partner, he posted a pic with her on Instagram hinting towards that.

Ringers are never going to be the first ones out, because the judges will always save them. Unless they're up against other ringers, which isn't likely to happen.

I suspect Pashley will be in the final.

coveting I dont anything about SeanWalsh as a human being, but a few years ago I was oversaturated and didn’t find him especially funny.
I think that I’m not the only one because then he wasn’t on tv much anymore and here is is on strictly!

I’m already warming to him this year

The only thing I know about about Sean Walsh is he’s a comedian. I think i’ve probably seen him on the odd panel show. I quite liked him. He seemed to be there for the experience, and to have a lot of fun.

I’m hoping Suzanne turns out to be likeable, as I was a big fan of Trinny (although it auto-corrected to Tranny!) and Suzanne back in the day. I fear she could be this year’s non-dancer though (did you know she dated a minor royal for several years?).

Though Joe Sugg, the Internet blogger was sweet as well. It will be interestering to see how he does, and whether the public keep as the average Strictly viewer may not know who he is.

I think it will be a good series this year. Somehow it already seem more exciting.

So glad others agree about sleazeball Charles. DD and I both thought it immediately. Not convinced he has to act too much on casualty.

I’m actually impressed with the line up. Charles aside, I quite like them all (as long as Gavin and Stacey manage to calm down)

I’m not too convinced about the introduction of the new dance week. That would appear to play right into the ringas hands. But we shall see.

Yaaaay managed to watch Saturday's. My verdict is that there are no REALLY BAD dancers except maybe for Susannah. Tess has lost about 2 stone (which she didn't need to) was wearing (as usual) the least flattering dress evah. Claudia looked 1000$ next to her.

Dame Darcey looked FABULOUS as usual. I love Nile Rogers. The lead singer of Dave's Orchestra shouldn't have tried to sing Havana (which I love usually) it always get me dancing. Maybe it was all tooooo frenetic.

So last night I watched some of Neil & Katya Jones professional dance routines... well worth watching in my opinion. Choreography was fabulous, though just made me even more disappointed that he still hasn't been paired up.

There was another Jive where they were dancing in lit up squares, but can't remember the name, very creative.
