I need to re-watch thoroughly as I got interrupted loads and missed half the pairings (could do without the cringe jumping around and squealing!)

I'm quite excited about this year's show! I've not enjoyed it quite as much in recent years. Not sure why this year is different, it's the usual random bunch of celebs

I’m reasonably sure Charles made his debut in Casualty wearing a tight vest (gym kit) so I dont think it’ll be long before he’s flaunting his body!

The teenagers in this house have nicknamed Charles ‘Btech Idris Elba.’

Love it, so Charles is now officially Btech Idris, and Kevin (from Grimsby) is officially Gavin and Stacey.

Charles was an utter sleazebag. In the three minutes he was on screen I don’t think he looked at any of the women he was with in the eye. Eurgh.

I miss Natalie too, i seemed to warm to a lot more of the older pros (minus the Jordans) compared to the latest ones. What happened to Robin, why did he leave ?

fbsg I agree, Charles may be a mover but he loves a) himself and b) all attractive ladies in that order. He was like a kid in a sweet shop! He has appeared without his top on in another show, not Casualty, so it's only a matter of time.

I think Robin is on Dancing with the Stars in the US now.

I miss Natalie too. Robin Windsor had an injury one year and just didn't go back but I don't think he was fired or left in a huff like James Jordan

I don’t understand: I thought there were 3 new pro dancers? Only Graziano got a celeb? Are the other two just background dancers then?

Also, if they’ve really only just had their pairings revealed, how come they were mostly dancing in said pairings during the group dance? I’m sure that hasnt happened in previous years.

wowfudge I sat near Robin Windsor on a train heading into Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. He was with a load of other dancers, they were all made up and ready for a show somewhere. He was talking about what it’s like when you don’t get on with your dance partner!

I think they end up dancing with their partners in the group dance every year.

But if it happens every year then surely someone would have clocked that the pro the celebs have been rehearsing with for the paired bits of the group dance always seem to end up as their actual partners??

I don’t believe that the pros and celebrities have no idea who they are going to get. But if the BBC want the audience to believe it (and given they go out of their way to hide the fact that the Results show is recorded on the Sat they must want us to believe it) why do they overlook the group dance thing?

Maybe the bits where they ar with their partner are straightforward enough that the pros can switch about.

I think the pros rehearse all the parts, then when they get paired up they know they are dancer 7 or whatever, or start in position D or whatever is needed to end up with that particular celeb.

There was some serious manspreading going on in the bit where Charles was interviewed. I was mostly thinking "You're not kidding anyone, they can't be that big".

Yeah he probably thinks it needs the room.
