Do you mean Kate holy? I doubt whether they will want to focus on it as she won't want to relive it, give the wankers any power and she has moved on from it. Her charity work and foundation will be mentioned and her mum might have a damned good cry as I would but it isn't x-factor or dwts and noone is going to be as tacky as to use songs like survivor or beautiful...much more likely she will get on with the whole process of enjoying the glitter and heels and dancing.

Hilarious if it ends up being between Gio and someone else and the poor pro knows who she wants really. But I warmed to Gio last year and am happy for him to have a middler (she has no dance experience afaik).

Great list, sevendown - full of people I know. In the first few seasons I'd heard of all or most of the 'celebs' but now I'm lucky if I know more than two of them. Ah well, that's life (as Esther Rantzen, series 2, would say).

Oh and they possibly might mention she is blind in one eye and how that affects dancing...but that's fair use holy not a flipping sob story
I'd be interested to know how much of a challenge it presents (as I still harbour hopes that one day they'll sign up Richard Osman although I know both his eyes are poor/registered blind)
That said Jonnie Peacock's disability was not brought up much at all

Katie Piper.....fine by me, I met her at a charity do IRL and she was jolly nice.

Mozzie, inclusive Dancesport does have categories for people who are blind or visually impaired. It seems to be harder to adjust for in men, because they're usually the ones going forwards and finding the spaces to dance into.

I feel like it will be more problematic in Latin — if they're dancing apart she won't always be able to see him if he's on that side of her.

Has Katie Piper been announced? She is lovely, we saw her presenting at Bristol Fashion Week this year, DD will be thrilled to have someone on the show she's seen IRL!

Aw thanks polka interesting to know. Her left eye was damaged so the pro would have needed to try and stay on her right side in side by side(?) but I have just read an article stating she had stem-cell surgery four years ago which restored her sight.
Amazing what they can do - cornea cells from a donor were grown then stitched into her eye. Her eye was then covered with amniotic membrane - womb lining donated by women who have had caesarean births which acted as a bandage.

So the only provision I guess which may be needed is in not stretching any scar tissue... Anastacia had similar but was decent in hold iirc.
